Thanks stoner barbie and CT I have to admit I didn't understand the whole botanical process, but I got the jist of it. Basically what we call curing is actually the bud fermenting. The bud needs a few things to properly ferment/cure, before and after the chop. First off it needs a full Nitrogen reserve, that's where the feed to the end part comes in. After the chop I leave the leaves and trim because the bud will pull the N and sugars from the leaves to assist in the fermentation process. That is how I understand it. It is similar to how tobacco has been cured.yo gb just caught your update congrats ont he harvest. can you explain then box you had the nugs in? how come no trim?
later buddy

I feel the same wayya got to believe what the woman says! I always bounce it off of my girl, I never tell her why at first but i will always ask her opinion then after she gives it to me i tell her what i did different. I seem to get a more non biased opinion.
no mold here, my big buds dried in like 3/4 days, well, not really dried but just right to put in the jars. then i opened the jars 3 to 5 times a day for 5 minutes or so over a week. now it just stays in the jars and no problems, this was the last harvest which i still i have a little bit of. now i di put a bunch of cuttings in a baggie and rolled it up after i cut the last 2 girls and forgot about it. a week later i pulled it out to grind it up and it was a soild bag of mold, LoL. just keep opening the jars and it will be good, if you open it and it smells musky, dry it a little more then put it back in the jars.hey cd, just curious if you have ever faced a mold issue by doing it like that? why do people say o let big harvt dry for like a week? i noticed my bud was over dry in a matter of three and a half days.. just curious breaux... thanks...
