I ordered 3 Feminized seeds. 1 Blue Widow, 1 White Widow and 1 Critical plus. they all turned out to be hermaphrodites. Now, i know that stress can cause a female plant to change sex, and i had a spider mite infestation through out most of their budding period (i know, im terrible) but i didnt want to treat it with pesticide while it was budding. I also noticed that light leaked from my veg room into my budding room, which is also supposed to cause stress. I've also read that sometimes female seeds just turn male. Maybe I wasn't watering correctly?

From your guyses experience, what is the most common kind of stress that causes a female plant to produce seeds?

i have had mite trouble and that didnt turn the plants, the reason they turned herme is probably because you had light leaking in on there dark period, get it as dark as you can and you should be fine in future. clean the area out well and dont use cheap shit soil. make sure its sterilized and you should not have any further mite infestation.

NEVER EVER KILL A HERMIE. First of all order yourself some Dutch Master Reverse. (if using femzd seeds this stuff is a must) The first signs of balls, pick them all off and treat with the reverse and repeat the process 10 days later. The stuff is used in grapes and grapefruits to stop seeds. It is wonderful stuff. It can be used as a prevention(spray when flipping to 12/12) or cure. Best of luck

I harvested all three plants at the same time as soon as I found seeds. They were all premature. I had no males so I don't know how they could have gotten seeds other than from stress. We never pruned them or did anything to physically harm them. We watered only when needed. It's a mystery. I just know that I have six clones budding right now (off of completely unrelated plants) and if they show up having seeds I'm gonna' freak out.

Pollen must have got in your grow from somewhere. Your grow area - you should clean with bleach and trust me order the Reverse

My room is in a basement o_o...I don't know how pollen could have gotten it. and after I found the seeds i tore my room apart and cleaned it top to bottom. it's weird, because my female super lemon's had VERY little seeds in them when i harvested them a few weeks before the 3 others. I think i have a serious problem here. The person I got the super lemon haze clone from must have given me a herm' clone? I'm not sure how it works.

If it's a potent strain, you could grow it out and make some hash and collect seeds to sell to little kids with rich parents

^ I've heard this before. I read that they only have less than 75% chance of being female, but that could be wrong. I also don't know what pollinated what, if that's what happened, and I don't want any undesirable strains mixed. if my entire operation is compromised I'm going to order two new strains to mother and probably start over. I'll make a journal following me if I do, and probably will around next harvest, anyway.

You'll get around 800 seeds if you grow them out. sell 5 seeds for $10-$20 and it adds up to about $6million if I calculated right.

Who the hell would I sell seeds to? I live in Ohio, it's hard as shit to grow outside, and most people don't want to take the indoor growing risk. It's hard enough to get rid of good herb, don't even wanna' think about just seeds. O_O

Although, 800 Automatic seeds would be pretty badass.

Um... I believe I said the target market would be rich kids. you can ask your dealers if they need or if they know anyone, just tell them it's a super sexy plant and that it makes you orgasm, give it your own name like, Crystal Piss Chronic and you're selling for cheap to spread it around. and you can also find some guys online if you got game like that.

I got game like that. It's a nice suggestion, but i'd MUCH rather be producing seedless bud. Sells higher.
