In this video, Krugman makes the assertion that the bush tax cuts were weak for job creation. O'Reilly responded by calling him a liar and claimed the economy was doing well.

A couple of years later, the recession hit.

Obama ran as a post partisan.

aside from that several presidents have moved to the center to be re-elected. Even FDR moved to the right prior to being re-elected (he even allowed for some spending cuts to go through during the time he was pursuing new deal policies).

My point? Obama is doing a fine job.

But Obama isn't doing a fine job. He hasn't moved toward the center, he moved toward the right. Every time the republicans pressure him for something he caves, giving them every thing they want. If he was meeting them half way in negotiations I wouldn't have a problem with that. But he's not. He's just caving. He has no balls.

And then, he lied about military action in Libya. While he was on TV talking about a Nato coalition that would be in charge of a no-fly zone, he was taking out Libyan ground installations. I don't necessarily disagree with the action itself, but presidents lying about our involvement in foreign wars is unforgivable IMO.

Also when it comes to jobs and the economy, he seems very concerned with how his buddies on Wall St are doing and not at all concerned with the fact that while we are propping up the banks through and investment/loan scam and they are now making huge profits, those banks are still not loaning any money and they are still taking people's houses.

Obama doesn't seem like he gives a shit about anything but his own image and his Wall St buddies. He's lost touch with the people. His words are empty. He's not doing a great job at all.

To say he hasn't "performed his duties" is partisan at best. From a historical point of view, he accomplished more in two years than many presidents did in a full term(just think of how many presidents tried to reform the health care system)... Whether you agree with his policies or not, that's hardly falling "short" on his duties.

Bush accomplished a lot too. That doesn't mean he was a successful president. Obama isn't as bad as Bush, but he's not doing a great job (unless you're an exec on Wall St, then it's great!)

That's not a good argument to make, sir. It would be more like if you went to school for that 25 grand and got a new job that payed more to pay your debts instead of blaming government for your shortcomings.

Actually, it is a perfect analogy to make for the current state of the US. I used a number representing our GNP (50,000), our current debt (50,000), our unfunded liabilities (500,000) and how much they've increased the debt JUST since team Obama took over (25,000) anid put it into an easy to digest little example.

And investing that money into "shovel ready" projects and all the frivolous projects they've spent it on, is much closer to my analogy of fixing up my house than your of going back for an education. "IF" they had actually spent some money on intelligent investments, you "MIGHT" have a case to make for them. Didn't happen, most of the money of the Stimulus package went straight into keeping government workers on the payroll. And now the money isn't coming this year and lo and behold, states have the EXACT same problems they had, only now there isn't a magic cash pill they can take. All they did was push the problem down the road a year or two.

Didn’t he say by passing the stimulus unemployment would stay below 8%. He signed a health care law that has cause the price of insurance to increase rather substantially. The worst part about this president may not even his terrible policies, he’s not even a leader. Has he taken the lead on anything other than apologizing for America? Oh and starting another war.

How high have gas prices risen under Obama? How high will they be come Nov. 2012?

He’ll lose by 40+ states. People will be dancing in the streets and singing “Thank God the commy gone".
