Re-elect Obama 2012 thread

i reject your rejection on the grounds of you don't know shit from your shoes.

you stated that the stimulus money went into 'frivolous' investments and 'to keep government workers on the payroll'.

this is not the case. the american recovery and reinvestment act did a fuck of a lot more than that.

http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,2013683,00.html?xid=huffpo-direct

by the way, how did you spend the extra couple thousand of your hard earned dollars that you got to keep thanks to obama and the democrats (and the few repubs who also voted for the american recovery and reinvestment act)?

i built and upgraded my grow spaces. i took the extra thousand or so and invested it, it is paying me back every day.
OMG, you did NOT just roll out an article from time/huff post that farts out that long ago debunked claim of "created or saved (saved lol) 3 million jobs" .

I have a copy of the NY Times my quaker parrot has been crapping on for a couple of weeks now, I'll use that for my argument because the sh!t on that paper is worth 10 times more than ANYTHING printed in Time... REALLY? You actually thought that article would lend credibility to your argument instead of the making you look completely gullible, as it did.

And as to my taxes, I wouldn't know. I've received a refund of about 7k every year for the last ten years. But I'm just now doing my '07 taxes right now, I don't worry about filing on time because I always have a fairly large refund and pay no penalties, plus they have left me alone thus far.

I'll go back to what I said in the beginning, he's probably a citizen, Hillary would have skewered him if he wasn't. But even if that's the case, the "LEGAL" question is still valid until answered, and not with that sheet of paper you water-carriers keep holding out as evidence. And ast\ someone watching this argument develop, watching libs duck and weave valid arguments by monotonously repeating the same hollow point, I find them to be quite idiotic and incapable of answering the simplest of questions.
I'm hardly an Obama water carrier. I've made several posts in this thread almost every one is anti-Obama. As I've said I'll consider voting for a republican in 2012, depending on the republican who is running.

The fact is there was never a legitimate question of Obama's citizenship or his birth origins. It's just a bunch of people who didn't want the black guy with the funny name to win. Since it's no longer socially acceptable to just call him a ni-ger, they invent new non-sense reasons like his birth certificate to be against him. No reasonable person actually believes his citizenship is in question. It's just covert racism and/or xenophobia.

I will probably vote for him in 2012...I dont think that the repubs can come up with anything that wont grossly jeopardize national security at this point...
Yeah, the type of people who are choosing the republican nominee worry me. Seems like they'll run an extremist which is a big mistake.

So Obama and Pelosi’s new health care law drives up insurance premiums for Americans and you attack me for saying something. Hahaha How’s that Kool aid commy.
you still have not showed the cause and effect. at all. not one bit.

thus, the rest rings hollow.

i saw a bumper sticker the other day. it had a cup of tea and a glass of kool aid on it, and asked 'which one are you drinking?'.

as if there only existed those two options: the extremism (not to mention class and restraint ) of the tea party, or anything else (the anything else being a thinly veiled attempt at subtle racism, we all know how black people love them some kool aid and watermelon!).

false bifurcation, another logical fallacy. the defining mark of the far right nowadays.

So he said unemployment would reach double digits. My bad on the 8%. Here’s a video to the video. The guy was still wrong. http://theblogprof.blogspot.com/2010/07/video-of-obama-yeah-i-promised.html
i don't see how anything in that video makes your original claim look less retarded.
What did you call the wars in Iraq every time you criticize Bush? Can liberals ever mean what they say and say what they mean?
if you want to go down the rabbit hole, one need look no further than the post of yours which i dissected to expose the numerous lies therein. let's start to compare libya with iraq once they are even remotely comparable. that would mean boots on the ground, a mostly unilateral mission, and an unfunded one at that.
]But you aren’t looking for a reasonable response from me are you? So I won’t give it to you because I have to go meet your mother and give it to her so you have a good night. I know I will, slipping your mom the old high hard one. Gona show her my O face. :o Hahaha
i can only assume that by 'O face', you mean 'Obama face'. i say this because obama has saved her plenty of money so far. a better tax break (and other costs, thanks to the ppaca ealier referenced) than any recent president i can recall. so, in that case, i will 'give it' to your mother tonight and i'll show her my 'libertarian realist' face. that will be sure to get her off, as the libertarian realist face is composed of ron paul and ann coulter. that will be sure to feed her fetish for a squirrely old texas loon combined with a transgendered politicial pundit who sports an adam's apple.

When did Ann Coulter become Libertarian? She wouldn't know Libertarian if it bit her on her skinny white ass. Ron Paul? Yeah now that is a Libertarian.

Hey UB? Know what the first thing they did in the Gulf war before a single soldier put a foot on the ground? They sent in the cruise missiles to take out air defense and communications. Then the air war started to soften them up a bit, then came boots on the ground. Do you truly believe we won't have some kind of force to occupy Libya any time in the future?

The question then, would be... Would Obama put boots on the ground? His record says maybe but my hope is no(it's naive to hope, I know).. haha

ron paul is only libertarian at times. he has exceptions.

since paul is the libertarian in my scenario, coulter has to be the 'realist'. and any dumb fuck who puts an ounce of value into what she says might be someone who considers themself a realist.

especially if that person buys into the fox news narrative.

time will tell.

empirical evidence points to an inevitable 'yes'.

but i have a feeling that this will not be noted by many like the iraq boondoggle.

When the LA Times says this, you know Obama is toast. The reason for this declaration today is just to keep him from being relegated to lame duck status too soon. He won't be running.
http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/washington/2011/04/hillary-clinton-obama-john-phillips.html
The LA Times argument was mostly speculation. Besides, history shows that even unpopular incumbent presidents almost always get re-elected anyway (I believe only three presidents have failed to be elected their second term). Clinton knows this, I doubt she'll run in 2012 but I hope she does in 2016.

Our entire family gets together every Monday night for Family Home Evening (it's a Mormon thing) and we had a lively political discussion. What shocked the hell out of me was the fact that every single one that can vote is voting for Obama.

You know things are dire when Mormons start voting Democrat. ;)

I'm pretty sure Obama is going to win this next election. People are fed up with the Republicans and their bullshit.

I think at this point people are fed up with both sides bullshit. Democrats may have a more sensible platform, but that doesn't mean anything considering they can't anything on their platform passed. It's evil vs incompetence at this point.

Not if you start at the local level. They were also discussing voting Democrat for the House and Senate. Maybe it will be a clean sweep? Who knows.

Well we've already seen what Obama will do if dems control both houses of congress. He still caves in to republicans. It'd be nice to get the house back though. Despite how she is characterized, Pelosi is an extremely effective leader. Too bad Reid and Obama aren't a little more like Pelosi.

I like Pelosi. She gets shit done. I'm thinking Obama had the fear of God put in him with this last election that cost him the House. Maybe he'll step up to the plate and act like a Democrat.

Obama at 42% and looking foolish on Libya, and posters think it is a sure thing he will be re-elected. LMAO.
