Autoflower Thread & Resource Guide

I am currently growing a BCN Diesel Auto and an Mi5 Auto. I had 2 Onyx going as well, but one I accidentally killed and the other was male. They were fem seeds and it wasn't just hermied, it was all male. Anyone else have this happen?
 
where were the seeds purchased from?

I got my seeds from Attitude. They were Short Stuff seeds. I got them through pick and mix. I have since started buying packs instead, but I have lots of seeds that I only have 1 or 2 of them and all of those are fem seeds.
 
yeh i've had quite a few short stuff beans all fem'd never had anything but females, but I think I may just be fortunate, a mate of mine has had a few herm's but never full male from fem'ed seeds

Male's are handy if you have somewhere to keep them away from your females... you can harvest pollen and start creating your own strains :D just pollinate a single bud site and then you have some crossed strain seeds

are you 100% certain it was a male? if so it may just be that 1/1000 chance that you did end up with a male...

It was definitely a male! I grew Chocolate Rains my last grow and they aren't fem seeds, so I learned all about identifying plant sex then!
 
Short Stuff Seeds Himalayan Blue Diesel Fem. Day 87(right) Day 82 (left) How do they look? They had a rough first week in life and had high heat stress first 2 months :S. Just to double check, I used your link. If the bottom 2 pics in your first post are males, that is what I had! Really, it was unmistakably a male plant! Thanks, though.
 
hay guys, quick question. the first set of leaves (not the light testing leaves, the second ones) have started to go a bit yellow, and also most of the leaves are curling down, apert from that the plants look healthy, any idea why?? i think one is starting to flower as there is LOADS of pistils everywhere :) please give some input :)
