I see the merits of both, would vote Paul over Kucinich, and would take Jessie 'The Body" Ventura over all of them.

Ron Paul / Gary Johnson the only other Republican worth a crap.
Running independant (with Ventura) would mean no debates a hard slog just to get on ballots.
On the plus side a Paul/Ventura ticket may well mean the republicans can not win. (the Perot effect)
Which would not be any consolation really as Obama and Bush2, I see no real diffrence.
I am sick of voting for the lesser of to evils.
I will vote to maximize liberty.

I want John Edwards back. He articulates the message better than Kucinich is capable of doing. If Newt Gingrich gets to be relevant again then there is no reason we can't have Edwards back.

To get this thread back on track: Glenn Beck isn't going anywhere. He's just giving up his TV program. He will continue working at FOX developing other programs. He also has his daily syndicated radio show with over 3 million listeners. In addition to that, he has his speaking tours. Sorry to break it to you Progressives but Glenn Beck is one of the most influential commentators in the country. He has exposed communists and Maoists in the White House. He is driving George Soros nuts by exposing Soros' agenda and all of the leftist organizations Soros funds. Its so obvious that most of those who have posted in this thread so far, have no clue of what Beck is about.

It is alleged that Becks show has been canceled because FOX plans to tone down the political rhetoric, this man has inspired so many people to begin to do their own research and get their news from the internet and other sources other than the mainstream media, his ratings have plummeted, cable news ratings are plummeting,
Beck was Ruport Murdoc's attempt at thwarting the constitutionalists/liberty movement in the country by telling half truths combined with half neocon spin they thought they could distract the movement. Glenn beck pretends to be a man who holds the constitution and our founding fathers dearly yet each time he touches on an important issue you get half the story which then transforms in to murdoc/neocon propaganda and/or liberals vs conservative detracting from the issue at hand and going off on tantrums about the things that really don't matter. News Flash! If Mr Beck cared about the constitution, liberty, and freedoms than WHY DOES HE CHEER FOR THE OPPRESSORS, Imperialism, Globalism, WAR? Why does he talk about things that don't even matter? Why does he give us half-truths? These are the questions you should be asking yourself when you listen to Glenn Beck. It will become clear to you that Mr Beck is not a man who seeks liberty and justice but simply a propaganda puppet, or to be more accurate a 'distraction' for freedom loving people.

Ask yourself this: If Glenn really opposed globalism then why does he cheer for them here? Why is Mr Beck not upset that the UN calls the shot and we just up and go for the first time in history with no talks, in fact he encourages us to do so in this video? Why is he claiming Genocide? Is he genuinely just upset because he herd the alleged civilians crying on the evening news, so upset that he puts "glenn beck's" alleged values, ideals, politics, and morals aside or is this a scripted t.v. show? Isn't it far fetched to say that this is simply him attacking obama for the purpose of attacking obama?

Beck's an entertainer like most host on cable news channels. Glen Beck, Sean Hannity, Chris Mathews, Joe Scarborough, etc
take your pick, they are all entertainers first newsmen second. Even my local news has a slant. Why is anyone surprised by this? People are biased big deal. All you can do is watch both sides, do a little research and make up your own mind. As for the dumb masses that listen blindly well they arent really all that different from the majority of Americans are they. Sports, reality tv, hell most of my friends and family doesnt know the first thing about whats going on in America much less the world. The sadder truth is they dont even care as long as Dancing with the Stars or Jersey Shores is on.
