Busy trimming this weekend. Had to manage the numbers since the dwc cloner worked better than expected. This was the white widow clone from the first purple widow. They both have/had the same unique smell none of the others had as well.

This is a clone I took a while ago all grown up and ready for flower. Instead of growing one main branch and splitting off, she decided to split right away and grow like... if you made claw hands and pointed them upright, your arm would be the 'trunk' and fingers be all the branches. And all the 'little stuff' is growing up through the middle. :eyesmoke:

Im excited for this one. She looks a little unhappy because shes been crammed in my clone/veg box. I wish I could veg her more but dont have the setup. A couple few days and she'll be happy growing towards the light with room to spare.

Also an updated comparison of the clones-

Thanks 420god. How'd that uv light end up working for you? I remember when you were going to add it, but forgot to check back. Yeah a while ago...

Thought I would bump with an old shot of the trichs from the SLH.

anyway, the 4 in 1 clone bucket is getting crowded. my plan was to move 2 to 1 bucket and lst them in opposite directions due to space. I checked and the roots are already tangled up and I don't have the water yet to fill another bucket. It will be a pain trying to untangle those when I'm ready. I'm sure there will be stress for me and them.

And happy 4/20 everybody

I believe it made an improvement to my grow but I've yet to do a side by side comparison to a plant with the light used and one without. Adding more light is one of those things I really don't question too much when it comes to indoor growing. You can really feel the light on your eyes when you're near it so there's a noticeable difference to the grow area.

Happy 4/20 to as well!!:eyesmoke:

Couple notes:

If you use reverse osmosis water you will have to add some elements back in. This was my first time using RO water and got deficiency problems right away. Cal-mag for sure and I don't even know what else yet. The soil plants bounced back well and the dwc got better but still has some issues. I'm sure its more than just the filtered water tho.

If anybody uses a dwc cloner like this I suggest taking the rooted clones out as soon as they're ready. I waited too long and now they are completely intertwined, with no way to get them apart. I tried but only having 1 set of hands makes things tough at times. I gave up and now they are crowding each other and those little 2" nets aren't holding these plants up. Also 4 plants in one bucket sucks water/nutes up quick.

If transferring into hydroton I suggest putting the clone in the new empty net, THEN fill up with hydroton. The bag said to put a layer down first, then the plant and surround. Well the roots basically had to re-find the water and it turned my best biggest clone to the smallest. Honestly, I don't even think its worth the time/space/nutes to even keep it going. After that and my calmag issues there's just nothing to constitute its own 5 gal bucket anymore.

Pics soonish
I hope mother nature is being good to you all out there, given you are being good to her..
