it was smart to reduce the amount of nutes. you should have a PPM/EC meter so you know exactly how much nutes you have.just added NUTES today. FloraNocva Gro series. It said 7.5mL per gallon at thsi stage. I cut that into almost a third lol(hearing too much about over fertilizing and over nuting) so for the 5 gallons in my resevoir i was supposed to put 37mL total. i put about 17mL in. Im gonna nute this for a week or two. When i switch to the flowering nutes do i haveto flush with regular water for a day? and is it ok to only use the grow nutes for a week - week and half? help please
Switching to flowering:
After you switch to 12/12, the plant will continue vegetative growing for 1-2 weeks.
if you want to encourage this natural growth, then continue adding your grow nutes for 1-2 weeks.
you can switch to bloom immediately after switching to 12/12 or anytime up to two weeks after switching - doesn't matter.
what does matter is, after switching to bloom nutes you should once again, greatly reduce the amount you use - just like you did when you first started adding grow nutes.
example: your PPM is 980 when you decide to switch to using bloom nutes (you've already changed to 12/12 lighting). The first time you add the bloom nutes your PPM should be around 250-350 and you can increase from there.
so it is kind of like starting over again.
btw - i couldn't get used to the new avatar and switched back
