It's an issue of opinions. Mine is different from yours.
Which is fine up to the point where your opinion is that everyone who disagrees with you is just greedy and wants to have growers arrested. No one wants cops arresting people. Limits are necessary to separate commercial growing from personal. No one here is suggesting limits in order to send people who grow for personal use to prison.

You seem to think that people need to have the right to grow 200 pounds for personal use, but that's nonsense. It's clearly commercial use at that point.

What is so bad about separating personal use from commercial use? Why should they be treated as the same thing when they clearly are not?

Dan, you are forgetting that corporations are people in America. So commercial just means personal for one huge person! Sorry. couldn't resist. Seriously tho. Limits are important for voter acceptance and long term legitimacy.

I always forget that corporations are people too and I need to be more considerate of their feelings.

update - I've finally jumped onto the organics bandwagon and sorted out my shitty hash making finally. And I finally finished the trimming I started last July!

It's weird. I'm so used to spending ~6 hours a day trimming that now I don't know what to do with myself.

I love those days!
I can't stand trimming. It's such tedious work and I have trouble sitting still for that long. It takes me forever to get it done. Don't get me wrong, I love being surrounded by fresh bud, but the actual trimming itself sucks IMO. :cuss:

Well it's not really an issue about me is it?

You are having issues with the range of opinions people have.

So how can you stop the world from having opinions or is it just the need to control others?

Perhaps this is one of those what did you call it? One of those divisive comments?

Matt,

I was reading the link and the page.

That Initiative is more pie in the sky than I would believe will be popular.

What makes you believe this approach is the "Winning Hand" in the poker game of Cannabis in California?

We voted down a more restrictive initiative in 2010. Why would a grander offer be an easier sell?

i can't say i've ever trimmed for that long, but i get the same feeling when i get through harvesting. i miss it.

i am lucky i don't have the same lower back issues as you (i have upper back issues, no problems with sitting down), but i love trimming! it is tedious in some respect, but i take it as a challenge to make each bud as pretty as it can be.

What does your statement have to do with my question to Matt?

Are you threatened by me?

The hidden agenda is the comparison between CCI and Tax2010 with one as the decoy and the other as the funded.
But we have to spoil it don't we...

Yes, it's about you and your need to make stuff up about the people who disagree with you because you.

You are having issues with the range of opinions people have.
No, you have me confused with you. My ideas are moderate and I've yet to see anyone except for you disagree with them. You on the other hand feel the need to insult and say terrible things about anyone who disagrees with you.

I'm not having an issues. You're the one who needs to insult half the board.

So how can you stop the world from having opinions or is it just the need to control others?
"I think growing cannabis should be legal" is an opinion. "Everyone who doesn't support my very specific agenda wants to send all growers to jail" is a lie.

Do you understand the difference between an opinion and a lie?

I have differences of opinion with plenty of people on this board and it's no big deal. I like that people think differently. The difference between them and you is they don't need to lie or repeat propaganda when we disagree. You're the only one who feels the need to do that.

Like I've told you before, if you need to lie or deceive to make your point, then that point isn't worth making in the first place.

Last year I came up with the oh so brilliant plan that if my indoor finished mid July, I'd have a couple free months of summer to go surfing, boating, camping and all that fun stuff. It turned out that when I finally finished trimming my indoor, my outdoor started to finish. When I finally finished my outdoor, my indoor cycle finished. So I've pretty much been trimming for the better part of a year now. ooops.

but i love trimming!
I did at one time too. But my opinion has changed.

It doesn't stand a chance. I know that. But my heart wants what it wants. :)

Seriously tho, it's prop 19 version 2 that is going to pass. I'm waiting for them to release it so I can take a position.

I think the real bottom line of why prop 19 didn't pass was a lack of a serious TV ad campaign. If Soros had donated that money sooner, it might have changed the game.

Guess I'll get to be the bad guy again. muhahhhahaha!

it seemed to take a sudden downturn in the final month preceding the election once booze threw its weight into the mix.

a preemptive tv ad campaign could have helped mitigate those effects.

cali, south dakota, and oregon may have failed, but at least az got its law through (by the skin of their teeth). that is progress. i'll take the bad with the good.

and yeah, i would probably not be so fond of trimming if i had to do it on the level you did.

I kept waiting for a final push from Lee and co but it never happened.

He may just not have had enough financial interests on his side.

a preemptive tv ad campaign could have helped mitigate those effects.
Yep. It would take some pretty heavy spending, but ads could totally make up the margin between winning and losing.

Once we've got 26 states with medical regardless of how bad some of these new medical laws are, I don't see how it's possible to keep it at schedule 1. They are going to have to bump it down to schedule 3 at some point here.

It's either a remake of the other end of the sample or it's a waste of time.

Demographics is the exploit of choice.
Demographics relates to market geometry.

let me ask you as I asked everyone here.

What will make the 2010 No voter vote Yes?
