Hey, gogrow, not to sound dumb, but what the he'll is a min-thin? I know you're not the original author, but I never heard of it.
Okay, now that I've given in to my curiosity, I'm sorry you've had rough time, but it's good that things are looking up. It sucks when a friend turns on you. I've had that happen to me. My supposed best friend got all bitchy with me because she asked her sister, who has 3 kids, to borrow $60. Her sis said no, we can't swing it. My former BF says, you have enough money to have a couple drinks at the bar every Sat night. I half-jokingly said, "Yeah, but with 3 kids that's a necessary expense." she got all pissed at me for 'taking her sister's side' WTF! A single CPA with no kids vs. Married Mommy w/ 3 who's a waitress. But, I wasn't taking sides per say. Just a comment, which IMO is pretty damn true. And this is someone who's been my BF since High School. This happened almost 5 years ago, and she still doesn't talk to me. And I'm still kinda mystified as to exactly what I did that was so horrible? Sure, friends have disagreements, then they get over it! But this wasn't even that. I simply made a comment about alcohol being a necessary expense for parents with 3 kids.
I say I must have only thought we were friends if she holds a grudge about something that trivial.
