i drop to about 68 at night, top at 80 during the day, humidity between 40 and 60 day and night, exhaust van always on, always negative pressure in the tent bring new air in. 400 shps but they were under MH until i first saw the pistils on most of them. FFOF, used botanicare pure blend pro grow nutes in veg, koolbloom in flower, hygrozyme and sharkbite throughout. cant really think of any more details other than this is my first attempt at growing. heres another auto 34 days along, best looking of the bunch

Don't know how the hell I got unsubscribed from this thread?! I dont wanna quote about 20 posts but you guys' plants all look great. A lot quicker growth than mine at that age. Here's my easyryder at day 25, back right.

No pistils as of yet on it, if it turns out male, I'll cry.
Man those are som vibrant healthy ass looking plants. Definitely top two or three in the running imo.

dont think i ever mentioned pot sizes. the green one is 6 inch pot, red is a 22 oz cup i believe. the one in the 6" pot has outgrown the older one. and the older one stretched after showing pistils and a lil bud formation. at this point im guessing maybe a half off the red cup. looks like it should be done in 60 days or so also. i guess the red cup should be about a month old now, and the second pic is the top of it.

The 6" im unsure what it may produce yet, it may still grow a little, but an oz seems likely. the 3rd pic is lower section of it.

all in all so far id say the breeders are about spot on with their descriptions and their grow tips. they recommend 7 liter ma pot size as they may grow to big. theres not much difference in the amount of soil the two containers have and theres a definite difference in size. they are definitely autos as well. i planted the one in the red cup with two non-autos the same day. the non-autos are still working on getting enough pistils and calaxys to even think about being a bud while the m blue is bout halfway through bud growth. and just a reminder it is a 12/12 grow.

day 35ish...i see signs of slight heat stress and im going too buy a new 2nd fan for the grow room tommorow to fix this...you can see the tips of lewis C. starting to wilt..im pretty sure its due to excessive heat now that the days are getting warmer...she has responded well to the transplant and nutes...a little stretchy and bare but thats expected seeing as she's been on 12-12 from seed.... :joint:...

the only reason in running 12-12 is that im moving soon and need to get the rest of my seeds done asap...im also running 7 dif strains on 12-12 from seed and they all look fantastic....kussage is just going crazy...it will be interesting to see how this sugar mango ryder does on 12-12...im guesing like maybe 10-15 g's but who knows....my la diva im growing now (new pics in my sig thread) is crazy nice on 12-12...im thinking at least an oz...dank dank dank...and an auto on 12-12 that gives an oz of smelling sticky ass buds is THE auto for me....

And that's going to kill you! (ie; wrongfull thinking)

Could you run a 100 yds. before you crawled?

Expect a decent harvest before you learn to grow?

This is not rocket science,,, but there is a knack to it learned from experience.

Everyone is willing to help (that's what this is about),, but you need to help us with helping you.

I'll be honest with you,, If you come back in 4 days saying all your leaves are turning yellow.......[/QUOTE]

My mistake,,, 6 days. :peace:

My girl is just exploding all over the place.

She has a strong steam, great color and has a sweet smell.

Still no signs of sex. WOS told me that my strain shows her sex within the 3rd week, so I have a few more days to go for her to show her hairs.

Here she is at 25 days.

FEED YOUR PLANTS DUDE!
Flushing washes out the nutrients from your soil (this is why your supposed to flush with a mild strength fertilizer...kulong lol)
Leaves only turn yellow, for the most part, from lack of light or lack of Nitrogen.
Why aren't you feeding your plants? If your afraid to feed them, you need to get over it.
It's sound like your listening to the people that don't want you to feed your plant, and they're killing it.

If your plants are turning a healthy yellow (see picture to see an example of healthy late flower yellowing), meaning they are just turning yellow gradually and evenly
c99.jpg
(rather than yellowing then brown crinkled fringes, then mutated looking brown/yellow crinkled leaf, then death and fall of the plant),
then your plant still has a good chance. All you would have to so in that case is feed it...

I am not going to get into another discussion about frenchies plant...

But I will say this, I disagree with Beansly. You always flush with just plain water, always.

Yellowing leafs do not just occur because lack of Nitrogen.

Ah don't get mad kulo (lol).
What else causes yellow leaves?
I thought the point of "The Cage" was to discuss and help people with their plants...?

Well French, just be careful who you listen I guess. I get all my information from books and experience, but if you wanna get your information from rumors and heresay...they're your plants.
Just giving you the best info I can.
Here are just a few excerpts from J.Cervates' Marijuana Horticulture; The Indoor/Outdoor Marijuana Grower's Bible:

Def. AND toxicity of phosphorus;
Def- "...fertigate with an inorganic, complete hydroponic fertilizer that contains phosphorus
Toxicity- "...treat by flushing the growing medium of affected plants with a very mild and complete fertilizer.."

Def of potassium;
"...potassium is usually available in the soil, but it's locked in by high salinity. First, leech toxic salt out of the soil, and then apply a complete N-P-K fertilizer."

You get the point.

I am not mad at all Beansly, just tired. Very long day. Please excuse my lack of pleasantries.

Just to make you aware, I do not appreciate the assumption that I am going by hearsay or rumors. That's just insulting and unnecessary. I could say the exact same thing about you but that would be ignorant of me since I have no idea of what your actual background and experience is. I don't need to validate my experience, I just use it to help others when it falls on a subject I am familiar and torturing plants happens to fall into my realm of experience.

The Cage is to discuss, help and learn with each other, I have never said or implied otherwise. However, belittling others opinions because they differ from yours is not part of what The Cage is about. I repsect your opinion even though I disagree with it. I have not once said, "you are wrong" or, "don't listen to the other guy because he believes in rumors" or anything along those lines. I only said twice that I disagree with you and offered Frenchie my opinion.

As for your quote from the grow bible, isn't that advice for a hydroponic system? What page did you pull that quote off of because I would like to read the page it was on again? If there is a situation I need to flush with fertilizer added to my water, I would be more than happy to learn about it.

I have a feeling that Frenchies plants had more than one thing happening and we did not get full details on what was really going on. I think we can all agree that the problem with Frenchies grow was over tending his plant.

As far as yellowing, if it is a Nitrogen deficiency, it would be his lower leafs first. In his pictures, it looked like a mid-to-upper leaf that was burnt and yellow. The reason I think he over fed his plant is because his plant was burnt and not just because the leaf was yellow.

The causes of yellowing leafs could be just about everything from its natural progression during mid-to-late flowering, Phosphorus Mobile Element deficiency, Acidic Soil, Macro Element deficiency like Magnesium deficiency, Calcium deficiency, Iron deficiency or Sulfur deficiency. I know there is more, but that is all I can think of now.

Oh ya, over watering can turn your leafs yellow.
