I often wonder when I hear people bash the tea party movement if they even understand it, or if their opinion comes from mainstream media propaganda or just fear of such drastic change. Here is what the tea party really is:
The
Tea Party is an American
populist[1][2][3] political movement which emerged largely as a result of Ron Paul 2008 primary campaign,
[4][
unreliable source?] which is generally recognized as
conservative and
libertarian,
[5][6] and has sponsored
protests and supported political candidates since 2009.
[7][8][9] It endorses reduced government spending,
[10][11] opposition to taxation in varying degrees,
[11] reduction of the
national debt and
federal budget deficit,
[10] and adherence to an
originalist interpretation of the
United States Constitution.
[12]
The name "Tea Party" is a reference to the
Boston Tea Party, a protest by colonists who objected to a British tax on tea in 1773 and demonstrated by dumping British tea taken from docked ships into the harbor.
[13] Some commentators have referred to the
Tea in "Tea Party" as the
bacronym "Taxed Enough Already".

I'm not a part of any party myself, not republican or democrat or libertarian or tea party, but these are the people who seem to have the best philosophy lately and what most closely matches what our country was supposed to be like originally, which if you haven't noticed is nothing like we are today. If they had their way, the stock market would be fixed the economic crisis wouldn't exist, we'd actually own our land once we bought it, we wouldn't allow lobbying to pervert congress senate and the presidency, could retire much easier without having to pay property tax and income tax and inheritance tax and cigarette tax and gas tax and alcohol tax and state plus federal tax, and sales tax and all the hidden taxes you don't even see, wouldn't support a gigantic out of control military industrial complex and bases all over the world trying to take over the world and wouldn't be the enemy of the world any more or have to get our nuts felt up just to get on a plane (now busses too.).
Wouldn't be a police state, wouldn't have unfair courts just designed to screw people, wouldn't have a bullshit war on drugs or wars overseas.
How crazy would that be? You could actually work and buy a home or land, and then once done just live off that land and grow your own food if you wanted without loosing it for some tax lean or other bullshit. Without having to pay out the ass until you're dead and having to make so much money while you work to keep up with inflation and rising costs practically nobody can get ahead of in the current corporate system.
Explain to me how all this is bad. It may need some work from there, I think things like the EPA etc were good when they worked for the interests of the people, but they don't any more and need complete rebuilding or teardown at the moment. As does most government and justice system and for profit prisons etc in this country, including the fed and everything about our dealings with the criminal IMF etc.. A full reset and about face from current policies is exactly what I think we do need. And wipe the books clean of thousand page legislation nobody can read nor comprehend all hidden agenda crap that's hidden in all of it, wipe clean of all those who have allowed us to head in such a wrong direction. Federal education standards have not helped that agency can sure go as can so many others because they either didn't help or made things even worse, in fact most has had the opposite effect of what was intended because double dealing and etc is allowed... you get the point.
I'm not sure who the right candidates are yet, but I know who aren't right.
Our government was supposed to serve us, the interests of we the people, the best interests of the countries and our childrens futures, not corporations not lobby groups, not federal banks and foreign aid etc just us and our best interest both short and long term.
