Not middle eastern people, muslim fundamentalists. There is a difference. That's not racial discrimination.

I'm happy to share an airplane with anyone who will eat a slice of bacon regardless of their ethnicity.

what about vegetarians?
heart dissease patients?

Two Imams Put Off U.S. Flight for Making Passengers “Uncomfortable”

WASHINGTON – Two Muslim imams were put off a flight from Memphis to Charlotte in the United States by order of the pilot, who justified the decision by saying they made the other passengers “uncomfortable,” the Council on American-Islamic Relations said Saturday.

The incident occurred Friday at Memphis Airport as Masudur Rahman and Mohamed Zaghloul were traveling to North Carolina for a congress on prejudice against Islam in the United States.

Both were wearing traditional Muslim garb and were forced to deplane when the airliner had already taxied onto the runway for takeoff.

“TSA (Transportation Security Administration) came on and pulled them off and said the pilot was refusing to fly with them because passengers were uncomfortable with them,” Ibrahim Hooper, spokesman for the Council on American-Islamic Relations, said.

But the TSA said through its spokesman, Jon Allen, that the decision not to allow the two passengers on the flight was made by the airline, not the TSA. He said they had been screened and approved to fly.

For its part, Atlantic Southeast Airlines issued a brief communique on the incident saying that the airliner “returned to the gate to allow for additional screening of a passenger and the passenger’s companion.”

“We take security and safety very seriously, and the event is currently under investigation,” the airline said.

Rahman, a professor of Arabic at the University of Memphis, described the incident as “ridiculous” and said that this would not happen in any other country in the world.

“I think some action should be taken so this won’t happen with other people, any religion, any person, any professional,” he told the Memphis Commercial Appeal.

“It’s racism and bias because of our religion and appearance and because of misinformation about our religion.” Rahman said. “If they understood Islam, they wouldn’t do this.”

Both passengers were booked by the company on a later flight, but were unable to arrive in time for the congress in Charlotte.

Hopper acknowledged that the death of Bin Laden could be making people more concerned in such circumstances.

U.S. intelligence services are on the alert now that the Al Qaeda terrorist organization has threatened reprisals for the death of its leader, Osama bin Laden.

Bin Laden was killed last Sunday in a U.S. commando operation that penetrated his Pakistan hideout in the town of Abbottabad outside Islamabad.

what tee shirt cant your kids wear? id like to see it, or know whats on it.
to be quite honest, im MUCH more scared of dumbass ignorant fucks like you than these muslim guys. i dont want people like you taking their freedoms away, just because you have false beliefs they are a terrorists. did u not read that they got searched like 3 times, and nothing was found? but somehow they have special muslim superpowers that can overpower everyone on the plane, right? wtf could they possibly have done on that plane?
not only that, but they were going to a lecture about the very subject. this shows how prevalent this ignorance is nowadays.

if there was ANY reason to believe they could harm the passengers or the crew, i would side with the pilot. but the fact is that they were just muslim, and the pilot was afraid of them. even after going through multiple security checks, he STILL thought they were a threat. thats ignorance, and should be looked down upon in america

you do realize there may be these innocent muslims in the us who are trying to kill americans? hello american, the worlds biggest enemy just shot between the eyes......we may wanna think there might be payback?

maybe, just a little bit...am i a racist because a major terrorist who is muslim has been killed and i expect violence?. does that make me racist?

edit terribly high, but try to get what i am saying

yeah because theres a bunch of bin ladin lovers in america right? hes got a huge following here. come on...
and another thing... if you are really worried about terrorism, why the fuck are you scared of some average muslims trying to go to a conference? shouldnt you be worried about the real threat? (the real terrorists)

tell me... what threat did those men pose? what was it about them that leads you to believe they could be terrorists? just the fact that the pilot kicked them off?

I dont know if you noticed but muslims preaching adherance to their religion killed over 3000 people on 9/11.

We just went into a sovereign country and killed a terrorist that was quite well liked in Pakistan.

So, what do you do when people are scared in a situation like that? Tell them to STFU and get over it regardless?

You have unending compassion for muslims but seem to have no compassion for any other passengers or crew. Why is that?

All 252 passengers are racist. Obviously the pilot isn't, he would not have taxied out on the runway.

god i love when liberals speak,

yes i did notice 9/11. but what i didnt do is over react and start hating every muslim. i do not have unending compassion for muslims. i think they are ignorant to believe in a religion to begin with. but, i realize that people like their religions, just as christians and jews do. thats what makes our country awesome for so many people(i personally dont agree with religion). oh but unless you dress a certain way, or practice a certain religion, we will search you more, and maybe not let you onto planes.
its rediculous that you think just because some people who were muslim attacked us, that most muslims are like that. are you like the majority of your race? no... you are you.
and dont a bunch of bin ladins siblings live here in america? theyre still muslim AND theyre related to him, but still renounce what he does

so because one person of one race or religion has done something awful, that means all the others are guilty of that crime? why are they subject to the same hatred as the real terrorists? if a jewish person blew up something, i would not start hating and searching every jew i see. i would hate that guy that did it, and anyone that helped him do it(knowingly).

and yes, that is extremelyignorant of you to target those men. explain to me what they did to deserve it, besides just being muslim, or 'dressing muslim'. and who gives a fuck where they were going? they could be going to a KKK convention for all i care. that is none of our concern.
