Cure for Cancer

yea my bad i know what you mean, i did say a little hasty "this cures cancer!" and that was dumb. but i know you understand this is some pretty exiting shit and i wish you the best of luck in getting better. two of my aunts have died from breast cancer and one of my mom's employees has cancer so i am really interested in finding out for myself whether or not this can help people. As they say experience is the best teacher!

Theres no money in it if people can grow their own medicine in their garden.
As long as the majority are convinced that weed is bad then it wont happen.
I cant tell you that Rick was not a lier.
I could tell,believe it or not.
All i am saying is that cancer/aids etc.. patients should demand it and see what happens

Now let's be sensible here. Smoking weed ( or smoking anything ) can give you lung cancer, throat cancer, oral cancer, etc. There are certain compounds in MJ that seem to show promise with certain types of cancer. Big drug companies are working on ways to put the helpful stuff ( plus who knows what else ) into pills so they can sell them as an anti-cancer drug. But the good stuff that gets you high will not be in those pills.

What I'm saying is if the pharm. companies have such a hold on government power, they can continue to keep marijuana illegal and manufacture a synthetic substitute that would naturally be MUCH more expensive and make even more money hand over fist.

Completely agree that we ALL (not just the patients) should demand reality and evidence-based laws - and not just related to marijuana use.

Just so everybody knows power is money..Our government makes money off what they make people need so in a sence a person that wants money will overcourse put alot of science into pills and such and making them as addictive as possable. Why would they want sombodey taking away their damn oxys? Everyone knows GW likes shooting up oxys in his neck and take a big bump of coke before he says somthing so stupid its funny we all shake our heads and go buy some tabs maybe even some advil to take away a headache that doesnt exist.

In this case, it seems to be a more case of government actually restricting Big Pharm in this case.

It isn't like we really could grow our own medicine. Aspirin comes from a willow tree. You won't get the same benefit from a cup of willow tea that you would get from a Bayer tablet. FDA regulation is pretty much the only protection we get, as little help as even that is.

Also, there is tons of money in curing a disease. Once you have a cure, you can give it to EVERYONE as a precaution. Every government will buy it, and every citizen will want it, since you don't know you have cancer until it has been growing for years. Not to mention, a cure would guarantee a permanent place in history. What scientist wouldn't want to be compared to Pasteur, Curie, etc?

Thankfully, chemotherapy is becoming a thing of the past, and the research is heading towards targeted therapies, that work on features of the tumor, and leave the non-cancerous cells alone. Marijuana could have a HUGE impact on this research, but scientists can't research it. Our best research on MMJ, like stem cells, is coming from overseas. Long story short, restricting research leads to "brain drain." Brain Drain is what gave us some of Europe's leading scientific minds (Einstein for one) during WW2. We already have lost so much of our means of production, that this is one more score against this country when it comes to competing in the global market.

ABSOLUTELY agree with the guy who said you all need to vote. Convince our leaders that legal regulation is the best way to protect our kids, like we do with smokes and booze.

this is absolutely amazing. i completely believe these in the curing and healing powers of cannabis. the personal stories in those videos tell you everything you need to know.

i know people who suffer from chronic pain from MS and fibromalgia(? spelling). cannabis oil could really be the best medicine for them.

please pass this man's story to everyone you know. most people know someone who has cancer or another chronic disease.

i've been searching online and i can't find a single case of someone getting lung cancer from smoking only the herb. one of my friends grandpa has been smoking everyday for forty years and he hardly even coughs. although thats no proof, does anyone know of someone who got lung cancer from just weed?

Yes, smoking anything will cause you to inhale small particles and damage your lungs. Fire victims often die of smoke inhalation, after all. Since you only inhale a small amount of smoke when you smoke, you only do a little amount of damage at a time, but you do damage your lungs, not to mention every place the smoke hits on its way down (mouth, tongue, throat). It does to the rest of the body what it does to your eyes. Another thing that could be ameliorated, some, by taxation and regulation

actually, did you read the study which said cannabis does not show a risk factor comparable to smoking cigs because when the cannabis smoke damages the lung cells, like smoking anything will, they kill off the cells. tobacco actually causes a mutation in the lung cells which leads to a growing, cancerous tumor.

this video mentions that a study in the 70's first broke the news that THC kills cancer cells. do you really believe no one knows about this? call me paranoid but the canadian courts put this man in prison for finding out that the cure to cancer is growing free in nature.

pass this story around to every person you know, a revolution could be made over this when people find out their loved ones do not have to die. there are alternatives to the drug company's poisonous pills. it has worked for others; their doctors were willing to testify in court and the corrupt Judge refused to hear their testimony and gave Simpson prison time for curing people of cancer-free of charge.

I would love to hear any examples of someone not directly affiliated with Rick Simpson trying this hemp oil as described in the videos. It is a different preparation than other common tinctures or forms of consumption that I have heard of at least.

I learned of this just a couple of weeks ago and am planning to help someone who has cancer try to prepare some.

I can't say I believe it will work, but I also can't say it won't. The videos are very convincing. I know there are many predators in the world that would like to take as much money as they can from dying cancer patients who are willing to do whatever it takes to try to save their lives or the life of a loved one. Rick Simpson does not stand to profit from this is any way. He's been giving it away, which helped keep him out of jail. If his claims were confirmed by some independent research, he does not stand to profit from it, as anyone can grow the plant and in most cases prepare the oil (it is a bit of a process and somewhat dangerous).

So, if he can't profit from it, then that cannot be a motive to lie.
So if you believe he's not lying, then there are many people who took this oil and were cured of their cancer. Was it from the oil? I don't know. If it was not from the oil, then someone's lying or it's a really strange coincidence. I think it's worth a try when other "accepted" treatments are not working.

If it were legal, the high cost of around $400/ounce would plummet.
Like growing corn or tomatoes, cannabis just needs sunlight, food and water. It's nothing more than supply and demand. The supply is low due to the threat of incarceration.

If this is a cure, it would be virtually free especially when compared to the cost of hospitalization, chemo, radiation and the large menu of drugs prescribed now.

This may be way off thread..but I was just watching how this women last name is Loughman she has pancreas cancer ( like Patrick Swayze) Her family is trying to get her treatment form a company named GenVec apparently they have a drug being tested. But because she has tried other types of therapy...now I did not catch what types. They refuse to let her try these drugs. I think that's wicked.. Her family is fighting this company..because they could save her life but because she has tried other types of therapies they will not allow her to try thier drugs ?? WTF..is the world coming to.

The oldest women in the world has smoked tobacco all of her life.
Funnily enough she lives in an area with very low pollution,i.e. no cars and factory's.

commercial cigarettes have hundreds of added chemicals, whereas organic cannabis has none. tobacco is sprayed with radioactive pesticides and fertilizers. cannabis has no radioactive chemicals. cannabis does not cause lung cancer. nicotine is addictive, THC is addictive on a scale that happiness is addictive, and the receptors in the brain are not harmed or reduced in any way, but there are more anandamide(happy hormone?) receptors being "set off". It is crucial to be in a positive state of mind when healing; cannabis makes one happy, therefor it is medicine. end of story. if everyone knew they could grow an herb and it would make them happier then the pills they spend thousands on every year, who would stand to lose a profit?
