Do you get the kids involved? I'v my son every weekend he loves to get involved watering and misting, Nothing like a bit of gardening to bring people together

I have an almost 4 year old, & if you ask him they are 'tomato' plants. He does like to water & help transplant, but he likes to help me do everything! I also have an almost 2 year old, he like to look at them. I'm just not quite sure what I'm going to say when he's older, how to explain it to a child... How old is your son? Does he know what the plants are? & yes, gardening is good for the soul!

Honesty. Just explain it to them as if it were a plant and not a drug and they'll work it out. Having an awesome mom already has em a step ahead of the game.

Just curious, obviously raising kids isnt without moments of anger and fighting. In a moment of rash, blinded anger could your child tell someone they shouldnt that there mom is growing weed :/????

My son is 4 aswel, funny enough he's never asked what kinda plant it is he jus calls them flowers lol. I dont really see it as a drug tbh so i dont see a problem with him helpin out. If he tells anyone im growing flowers whats the harm in that they could be tulips or daffodils.

That's the thing is him saying anything, & it's not a matter of if, but when. Kids talk, & kids brag. But he is young enough & doesn't understand, so no need to have the 'talk' anytime soon.

Since I started smoking again, there really aren't any moments of anger. Everythings awesome.

this is cool and all, but really letting your kids help. now if they were older then shit ok. but that young, what if the police came over your kid would be gone and so would you even if medical. what if one day he goes in and eats a few buds, sure it wont kill him but now he is a 4 year old who has tried weed, and like it or not MJ causes memory loss and can make the body and mind grow slower in children.

i am a medical card holder and a soon to be dad and best believe when i grow it will be in a locked room where he never will even go into.
its cool you do what you like and what you love to do but the kid thing is kinda outrages. why dont you do an outdoor veggie garden and have them help you with that

We have a garden outside too, the kids love it. But seriously, when you're transplanting, mom's digging in the dirt, why not? I have a few palnts & find no harm w/ the kids knowing we have plants inside the house too. Plus, the police aren't going to take your kids away when you are allowed to grow.

Same here. They never are allowed to go in w/ out us. We have those childproof door knob thingies. Guess I should've included that!

hey there....i have a 3 year old son hes turning 4 soon and he also thinks that they are tomato plants....and thats alright cuz i think that age is too young to be telling them what kinda plants they are...and at the end of the day he really doesnt care...he loves to help water too, i think all kids around that age love to help out...well good luck with your plants

I didn't think there was any hate

I don't have any plant or pot lying around. my medical plant are in a secured room they can only get into if I allow it.Thank for the concern.
