the fact is that over 3000 civilians are dead simply for going to work one morning. They didnt drop bombs on muslims, they didnt hate muslims, they just became the victim of muslim terrorists. And that is a fact.

in their eyes, they were attacking america as a whole, not those people specifically. if one of them did hate muslims, it wouldnt have changed any part of the situation anyways, since the terrorists didnt actually know any of them. those terrorists believed that america was evil. tell me where in the quran it says anything about america. sure, maybe it says something about infidels. but its only because of those terrorists' ignorance that they thought we are infidels. they failed to realize that there were good muslims in those towers.

look, i understand it was a tragedy that those people died. but i also think its a tragedy to go against our own american values in order to calm our fears. it may make us FEEL safer to always be on the lookout for 'radical muslims'. but in reality, it just makes all muslims feel like theyre being watched and looked down upon simply because of their religion. plus it distracts us from the real dangers out there. they could easily slip right by our defenses, when those defenses are only searching for certain kinds of people.

the people in Pakistan and Afghanistan certainly think the same of us. we came into their country and killed a lot of their people. most dont even know about 9/11. so why are we there in their eyes? because we hate muslims and we like to take over countries. all we are doing is showing them we are the bad guy. we may not be, but thats how they see it. that also makes it much easier for the people to recruit depressed kids to blow themselves up.

and yes, i am defending muslims. id do the same thing with christians. i hate religion with a passion, but i also realize that people have the right to practice what they want. i dont think its fair to assume all muslims are terrorists. do you think theyve been planning all this for thousands of years or what? is that really what you think islam is about? lol they just like to hate americans, right?
