i confirmed the louie the 13th cut from seeing its characteristics and growth pattern... and im 99 percent sure its real louie....
This is a letter from the creator..... this post wil be deleated... for certain reasons...
I dont mind sharing with non californians the way this strain originated .... if your from la area sfv...try not to quote this .... i was told not to reapeat this information..
all in all its kinda interesting..

louie the 13th.......ur gonna be disappointed.
it is just a renamed og kush that was floating in the san fernando valley among a group of growers for the longest time.
i got the cut back 13yrs ago. from a friend that had it for 4 years n the person that gave it to him had it for about 10yrs.
this is a really old cut. when i got it and got the end product i was like damn some of the best stuff i have ever had. shortly a year after (i been growing for 2 years before i got the cut) i showed my friend who gave me the cut (more like paid lol i wont get into the details) he said this can't be the same plant i gave u. usually small buds n not to dense. well we got softball to baseball sized nugs with great density. we unleashed the potential what this cut can do. our growing an enironment conditions where much better than most. we had a superior product that most didn't know how to replicate at the time.
all the herb was going to strip clubs an the entertainment industry an the SFV. about 5yrs ago a friend approached me an told me a club wanted to buy all i had....i laughed it off. i just told them they dont even know how much we have etc for them to assume they can just pick it all up etc. so i never met with the club but my friend was supplying the club with it. a few months go by and he said dude the guy at the club really want to meet ya. so i was like fine. it was --- they asked me how much do i usually have etc and will i have a constant supply. i told em just tell me how much u need a week etc and i'll tell you if i can handle it etc. they told me their needs and i met them 5x fold lol. so they asked if it went to any club at all. i told em the cut is vended to clubs but not by me or my circle. other circles are but theie quality an characteristics are not the same as ours....svc said we know we been dealing with them but everyone comes back just for yours and we want to know if we can get it tested and dub it. i told em i dont care what they call it.
the birth of louie the 13th!! that is it. nothing more but an un molested well taken cared of og kush that was under a certain formula of nutes.
now u can find stuff thats close to what you had back in the day. i'll tell you most of the time why its hard to find that same thing u had back in the day. we changed our style an the nute company changed formulas. we been experimenting to try to get the characterics back but it's so tough there are so many combinations of nutes and mediums we said fuck it. we going for mass weight now. and that we have.
growers hitting 2 to 2.9 pounds per 1k light, it's no longer about quality but weight. but from time to time there is a few of us that let our personal grows hit shops usually at --- or -----. only a few know about that formula and environment needs to get it like that but it only produces 1.5-1.8 pounds per 1k. thats y hardly anyone wants to use that formula.
reason why we changed our flagship name was to many shops were claiming they had the best louie etc an i was tired of it an well just dubbed it ----- ----- since i was the supply of louie. an i know where it went to an where it didn't.
--- does have the cut but we are no longer working with them. their grower (-----) isnt as consistant of a grower. they have changing enironments all the time so its hard to perfect. but they will have good batches an eh batches.
we have manipulated this cut to have diff characters. one location will make it for cerebal while another location will make it for pain.

etc this is all the same cut.....just diff style and diff medium and nutes and lenth of crop. this plant can be rdy at 8weeks or as long as 11weeks.

there are so many names that this cut has been given its retarded and i dont support it but the people i was working with at the time decided this. if it was me i would just be og kush but then there would be 5 og kushes on the board and people will get confused etc.

it all stemmed down to when we started we were not as commercial.....now that it's been some time....its so big now that it's hard to duplicate because the true masters are not even growing it anymore....they are just supervising.

What up nice grow. Im in socal and cant find any louie clones can ya point me in the right direction. Ive got skywalker og and platinum og from la wonderland. But cant find the louie. skywalker og and louie are tops for me. The real yoda is tops also. I need some louie in the garden.Thanks. Ptown in the house.

Yeah louie is bangin out some phat buds ... far ahead of the pack ..seeemed to stretch out the gate as usual ...above the pac....
I actually am very hapy with the genetics of louie...not dissapointed at all behind the reasoning or how it came to life.... just happy i could source out a real cut...

cool ..cool... ya u do nt know how many people ask me for this cut .... i guess u could say i was just lucky to get a seeded bag of louie.... never see it sold....
in fact i only just recently had seen it on my dispenciaries list ..its almost imposible to see the cut for sale. but 2 years latter after ... it seems like a couple people got a hold of the cut and it was shared amongst a couple groups and landed at my fingertips ... but was gone off the menu by the next week ....so i guess i got lucky ...
This strains quite contreversial... so sometimes they ll sell it but the wont tell u the name since its been branded .... but since the local colective in my area is ran by the creator of the strain.... i know who had the cut and where it was .... only a few got a hold of it ...but im sure soon enuff ..it ill be for sale like most other cuts....
The reason i call it louie is cause i grew it and i can see the same growth patterns .. but for all i know it could just be some random og....
I dont have any cuts at the moment left .. but if im happy with the final product ....ill try to reveg out ... and take some cuts ....as for now good luck on finding it .... took me 2 years to get a cut....

i hear ya d..... the louie is really ten times better lookin in person.... these cam pics are tuff to take during this period...as i hate to move them ....
they are starting to crowd up a bit ... overall tho the spacing is about as good as ive had for this amount of plants...
Something about louie his nugs grow so much faster and pod like ... while the others appear more hairier...
the structure is , from my experience ,the way og grows.... at least the good stuff...

week 6 begins....
i had to tie chem d up ..... chems heads were spreading far apart and falling against the wall... she really adjusted rather fast and has no issues really.... used the shoe laces to keep the heads closer to the light ...
not a very og in structure ...nor does it have a sour fuelly smell..... more like a nasty funk .... its just nasty smelling... which i like .... so seems like some chem d so far....
It tends to grow sativa like with a lil strtch .. not as bad as og.... but has many mor bud site per branch .... very sativa in bud spacing...yet the leaves are wide and short with five pedals wen your in flower...
heres a side shot..

didnt stretch much and stayed at about 3 feet... grows very much like bubba .... doesnt look like any sour diesl ...and it doesnt have a sour diesily smell yet...
Its a very pleasant fruity grapefruit like smell...kinda like bubble gum .... i cant really tell at this point...but it does look kush dominat and not like an og ... or sour diesel..
or headband for that matter....
i was told it was orgn kids cut of sk (ghost og x nyc sour diesel) and not dna's ...(not chinatowns either)...
But its great either way....

hey cheezey, good to see you are rolling lad. The chem d has a very similar structure to one of my DOG Kush phenos. Long branches with quite large spacing between buds that grow hard like rocks. The Headband I crossed my OG with certainly has added to the yield as the buds do get rather large. Take it easy cheezey...

Im actually trying to get some pollen to impregnate the lou and a few others lower branches......
I know and have read allot about this...
Do you think its too late at this point for seeds... and chucking pollen???
the only pollen i could get was some og #18 from one of my friends....
Hoping the the louie is dominant and the og 18 is recesive....itll be easy to find the louie traits as it grows so uniquely ...
Im sure if i the weed out the other phenos... and keep the plants that are louie dom (homozygous watever) ....threw process of inbreading (no crossing back ) cause the mother will be smoked ... that i can achieve a lou status offspring...or something new an similar...
So im thinking outa all the seeds ill get some traits that i like ... even tho im a firkin rookie at this... and il probly not be able to grow to many at a time... maybe 6 at most... itll take some time..but hey its a start... just dont wanna loose lou lou.... this time.....

No bother with the pollen chucking. I have done it reall late on one of my girls previously. Just do it on one of the lower branches or buds (the sacrificial lamb so to speak). Then you can chop her want you want and just leave the lower bud growing until you are happy the seeds have had enough time to mature. So if you do it now, I reckon for most kush varieties week 9 is essential anyway, so you have 3 weeks for the seeds to mature on the full plant. When you harvest it just ensure that you leave the pollenated bud in place and continue to grow that. As long as you leave some fan leafage on it you will be fine. Good luck bru.

I guess im going to have just buy some louie around town and hope to find a seed in it that would be the shizznit. I bought og 18 from attitude about a year ago i didnt take any clones becuz i was a newbie but i got a couple of seeds becuz i sucked so i popped them and they are looking good. At the time i had the og 18, white widow, northern lights and rocklock in the room. But they look just like the 18 so i will c what happens. Now im on the that socal shit Banana og, platinum og, skywalker og, alien og, lvpk, purple og and madman og. Nice grow 323. Much props
