Why thank you cc, if you take a closer look you will actually see there is only one plant here, branched off very nicely for multiple tops. Imagine one of these puppies in your cupboard!

Yeah that's the aim! YIELD BIG YA BUGGER! I love this photo showing how spindly / branchy it got with only 6 weeks vegetation, I thank the YATES soil for that, and will definitely stick to that brand. Think I need a different version of bug spray however...
Thoughts I'd show you the spray I have been using. It doesn't seem to have worked very well against the caterpillars, I just found another 2 !!! Anywhere there is a leaf overlap they crawl into and make a little nest, I'm glad I got these early or I think I'd be close to investation, but all 'looks' gravy for now

what is the problem with spiders and caterpillars, I have never been to NZ so I'm not familiar, you are going into your fall season now?? VV

there is a way to hook up a small battery to a wire and wrap it around the planter so that any little insect trying to crawl into the planter gets a little shock and wont cross it.

Well we don't have any REALLY bad spiders in NZ, or snakes or any of those sorts of critters, just small annoying ones that like to eat weed. The caterpillars are probably those white moths before turning into moths, because I see alot of them flapping around. The insect spray I got was meant to be good at removing them but that hasn't been the case so far.
We're coming into 'Autumn' or Fall as you guys call it, and boy the last two mornings have been cold, cold enough for window screens to ice up, so I have started putting her in my old Bedford camper van at night where its much warmer and safer. I just have to get up earlier each morning to put her back in the sun now, totally worth it!

Good idea for the crawling insects, but mine seem to all be flyers, except the caterpillars, so maybe I'll hook it up to the mains and fry those fukrs before they get to the plant!

Yeah my cat 'Spottle' is a good cat, he loves sprawling out everywhere and anywhere. He seems to sleep near the plant alot, keeping a close eye on it for me!
OK for all you cat lovers out there, I've chucked a couple of photos of Spottle in this post for you.

the spiders will kill those other insects, they are carnivourus insects and its unlikey they would spin a web big enough to damage the plant if you have that many insects around. Caterpillars are only a problem if the eat the leaves. What you are describing is hybernation, ready to form a cacoon til 'spring' them out as a moth, butterflies hatch from a crysillis not a caccon. Shouldn't do any damage to the harvest, those leaves will fall off anyway?? VV

I found out they are called Cabbage moths and they actually pull the leaf together like that using their silky excretion, a pretty nice trick I thought, but no room for that on this plant, no hitch hikers allowed.
Just fed it 1.5 Litres of water mixed with ~5grams Potassium Sulphate. Its a nice bright sunny day today, all looks good, no bugs seen today.

Some thickening of the bud with increased white hairs, looking good.
I was a little late at putting her back outside so she had a bit of a sleep in and as a result she isnt quite so perky, the leaves are a little limp. Hopefully that wont matter though and today's bright sunshine will eventually perk her right up.
The only insects seen today are the little dark brown flying insect, I think we usually call these 'clicky bugs' due to the sound they make when they jump around. These fkers are enjoying some of my Taradise weed before I can, I think that's a bit rude of them - considering I'm the one responsible for it, so they all got the flick. Also saw one small harmless looking spider, so I squished it.
I have stopped spraying the insect spray on or near the plant, I'm now just spraying the area occasionally, with the plant removed. No aphids have been seen.
Anyone recognise the strain at all?

Here are some nice new pics for you marijuana Appreciators who admire this incredible herb plant as much as I do.
It's amazing that it is illegal to grow and use Marijuana, IMO it should be allowed to grow freely as all other plants and herbs can, it causes WAY more good than harm in the world, especially when compared to dirty tobacco and ugly alcohol
All the beauty, science and productiveness of the plant are being neglected by governments who oppress its use. I hope that changes in the near future, in my lifetime at least.I think I must have been a Ganja Farmer in a previous life

i just recently had some grand daddy purp. it was great stuff. very high with low coughing.
the best part was, my buddies and i had some and then put it aside to smoke some other stuff we had and by the time we got back to smoking the pupr it had cured for weeks longer and was so smooth a smoke you could hardly tell it was in your lungs and it tasted great. i definately recommend curing as long as you can. its a sweet smoke.
