Marijuana Sprout taking a Long Time to Grow? Please Help!

1 month ago I bought Fem. White Widow seeds from Nirvana and I germinated & planted one. I planted it 27 days ago in some miracle-gro seed starting soil and she is growing SUPER SLOW! I water her every 4th day with no nutes (i used nutes in the water on the second week twice, but then I stoped). I keep her under two T5 Florescent lights in a clean area for 18/6 a day. Her soil PH level is currently at 7.0 and her water PH level is at 6.6. Her watering water is regular tap water that I set aside for 24 hrs. before watering her. Whats wrong with her? Why is She growing so slow? Thanks a lot, feel free to ask questions!

Sorry, the pictures make it look like she isn't getting good light, but she really is (I even used a light meter). It's just my camera that makes it look like that.

What pictures? Sounds like a lockout or overwatering, but I wouldn't bet on anything just yet. The same happened to me still with White Widow from Nirvana just about 1.5 months ago. After about 18 days of vegging, the seedling was just 2 nodes high, but the leaves were extremely small and were a very bright green (towards yellow, but yellowing did not occur, ever). After these 18 days I just got tired of it and threw it out because it wasn't developing at all. Roots were fine, didn't rot or anything, but didn't grow sideways either, it was just a little thin root.

I suspected overwatering, the soil I put her in remained very moist during its whole life, it just wasn't drying (not enough aeration, yeah). But now I'm also thinking it could be a faulty batch of seeds. Mine were feminized as well. I only tested out that one seed though, out of the whole 10, so it might as well just have been that one seed that had problems or indeed I caused it by overwatering. I'll give these seeds a try at a later time, I'm in the middle of a grow right now and then need to build a new box because boy those white widows will get smelly. But you can try and germinate another one and see if the same thing happens. If after 10 days it's not growing already, I'm suspecting it never will. And go easy on the watering. No nutes.

Oh, I had the same problem with my first set of seedlings this year. I threw them all out. Nothing helped...not root food not green up.

Comes down to this: I purchased soil on sale. It sucked.

For the second set of seeds, I used a soil made FOR growing Mj. The best seedlings ever!

Yeah, but his Miracle Grow *should* have worked, no? I've seen many grows with this soil (seed starter) from MG and no complaints. Except an advice: mix more perlite in, but it basically should be ok on its own unless overwatered. I myself never used MG so I can't share any experience.

Ah, I used Miracle Grow with my first indoor crop. It was simply shit! Try better soil and start over. Or transplant in better soil that can be found at any garden supply store. Organic soil with some mulch mixed in it is a good idea. Stay away from anything called Miracle Grow! Good for flowers but not for bud.
