Nice grow Irish! I have been researching LED's for a while so far Spectra and Grow Stealth LED 600W Quantum LED Grow Light

they are coming out with a 900w and 1200w
the 600W is 3w single chip LEDS with 3 wats into one chip 550w true draw ( they say this helps ) the penetrator pro uses the 3 w as well i would have to say these are the best company's out their for LEDS

i have to say i would like to see all 3 models tested against each other that would be a good thread.
I might do that someday i might buy 1 spectra and 1 stealth grow see how they do

i would have to disagree, i have yet to see and threads or you tube videos of the stealth lights that impress me.. as far as the pentrator well you can see all the info about that company on a few post back on those links. the only youtube videos ive seen are by urban growers feed and he has ties with AN witch is part of SG so i dont trust those. it would be cool to see you do a side x side like that.

i would love to see a side x side though. it would be cool for you to try them out and do a journal for we can see how they work?
you have to make sure even that the company's use 3w that their not under driven. like the 3w 500w led light uses 500w, the stealth isn't that far off but by 50w, still would like to see it hooked to a kill-a-watt. not sure about the penetrator i dont follow that company anymore after my grow with them and especially after seeing threads about how they scammed people and threaten to call the cops on growers. i posted the link a few post ago. i cant stand for that type of stuff, not cool. not sure if Grow stealth is the same a stealth grow, but i only know about the stealth grow and havent been impressed yet, but they keep coming out with new lights so i am not sure anymore?

SG is recommended in high times made in Cali runs 3 w's so i think this will be a good grow off. I do believe Spectra is a 11 band? the SG are only 6 and 5 band

o ya and SG claims to have 550w draws on there 600 with 848 watts of LED :/

i know their not made in USA, some parts are from USA and company's want to claim in USA but their still made in china. as far as high times its all about who has the most money to get put in their. $5000.00 and allot of company's can be in a issue, you have to only trust the grow journals by proven growers, remember advertisement makes those magazines money and if they dont say good things the company's will not pay to be in magazines.

not sure on what ur saying, their light is called a 600w and uses 550w right? where the 848w of led coming from? whats 11 spectrum's from spectra 360w? kinda lost now?lol

the plasma sounds cool and would love to check that out some time. been waiting for a while but wanted to see a few proven grows.

they are not made in Ca both lights are made in China, just sold in Ca.

i know for 100% fact both led company's are made in China just like all the others, its too much money to make in USA, some company's use cree led in the usa and say their lights are made in the USA but its just a scam.

just make sure you do ur homework and look for detailed grow journals proving the lights before you buy them. too many scams out their and false lights when it comes to leds

hey irish ,first off kudos on your grows,was hoping to get some advice
im on my very first grow ever im doing recirculating hydro using dyna-gro liquid grow for veg and dyna-gro bloom for bloom i have a bloom boss 90 watt led ufo im at 33 days veg and my plant is 10 inches tall and 15 inches wide lolsome of the leaves are curled ,i read where you said thats from the led light being too close,ive been runnin the ufo 19/5, anyway i put it in the bud chamber tonight,and put lights on 12/12, i dont know smack this is my first grow any words of advice? plus i have some bud candy coming soon thanks man heres sum pics of my set up and the plantoh ya had a few 14 watt cfls does plant look normal to you or is this the result of ligView attachment 1641572hts being too close?thanks oh and how much yeild do you think i might get and how big should i expect it to get and distance of lighting

The plasmas are badass, I saw a nOOb grow a tree with one, they are pricey lights though.

to be honest i am not going to be really any help ive never used those lights or even seen them, i also have no way or any clue on how much u will yield? no one can tell you that one my friend. its hard to tell in the pics with the pink light but the leaves look healthy and all, the drooping can be from allot of things, looks like a over/under watered plant but ur not in soil. ive seen leds do this before from 2 reasons, lights are too close or the leds are using a spectrum that's not liked by the plants. just keep fresh air coming in, PH in check and wish for the best with those lights. their bushy plants.lol. never heard of veg under 19/5, why u chose that over 18/6 or 20/4 or 24/0

i cant wait to show you guys my girls this weekend, getting the jungle going, theirs a few tall more stretched girls, but most of my girls are stacked with tight nodes and that crazy because my temps have been 97F for a while and the heat will stretch these girls, i have one plant that has the grow style of my dream plant, she is bad ass looking. ill have pics for 1 week flower on Sunday. things are looking great specially for the insane temps.

screw it i am going to show you guys a sneak peak of the garden, 5 days into bloom! its amazing how green and healthy they are even with pretty much 86-100F+ mainly in the 95F range. girls are stacking nodes even in these temps and their just so healthy and green looking with a waxy shine on the leaves. took allot of close ups of random plants to show how many tops some of the LSTing and trimming did. Got to love Dyna Gro! love that stuff so far!

You should see how serious it would be had he loaded them with Mykos on top of giving them an awesome LED light It would be too serious, I'm thinking I will only use it when I plan to SCROG lol

nice plants irish, love the colors. Reminds me I need to show you mine and how they are doing 11 days into 12/12 with their 395w GLH and Mykos/Azos super soil. The only digital camera in the house is under female control for the day though, so I will have to do my experimenting with a magnifying glass and not so great camera to get some shots of what I'm talking about tomorrow.

thanks bro, ya man i already have singes of flowering at 5days. loveing this light so far, and i truly dont think i would be able to grow and have healthy plants right now if it wasnt for these leds, HID would fry my girls in around 100F temps.

Yeah I could tell mine was flowering within 3-5 days too, although mine were matured seed plants not clones or anything like that (seems these LEDs can give people flowering 1-3 days faster than HPS?). But I'm afraid 1 of the 4 feminized Nirvana Ice I had growing is now a boy, its budding flowers definitely look like balls and not like what is coming from the other 3 plants (which looks like normal female growth). I could swear up and down that it had female preflowers exactly the same as the others before starting 12/12. Definitely growing balls unlike the other 3 plants, gonna chop it today, here is pics of it and the others. Its more annoying than a bummer because I certainly wasn't going to get a pound from these 4 plants, but at least the floor space was filled out and I could hope for 12oz of an 16 oz cure

PS: day 11 or 12 depending on how you count it of 12/12. Ugh the male has probably the most mass of any of the 4 plants >< Plus side is now I have room to start plants before putting them in the outside vegetable garden (or start some 12-12 from seed plants under the LED). I should probably do that right now to help make up for the loss of this plant, since it will take another 9-10 weeks of 12/12 which is enough time to a 12-12 from seed plant (with my 7-9 week strain freebies)

PSS: Irish how do you dispose of males? I probably shouldn't bother with trying to get pollen from this correct? *the chance of the pollen making more males is too great?

I was giving my males away. Always let them grow until I need the space. Then my buddy tells me how great it was. WTF? I didn't believe him, but he IS a professional smoker.

ya man they look healthy, their just crazy short and bushy for that time frame, maybe the lights are too close and not allowing to stretch? my fear is that ur foliage is so dense that when u flower ur not going to get any light to the bud sites and it will just be shaded and cause small fluffy buds? might not be the case though, but that's what i see
