i was a hacker back in the days before the term script kiddie had even been coined, before the days of the CDC, before AOL.
anonymous is a joke.
hacking is about exploits, and more often than not, one ego vs another.
taking out a soft target and data mining millions of peoples personal info, just to say that you did it, is an amateurish, juvenile, look-at-me-and-what-i-did stunt.
you could acheive the same effect by loggin into the sysadmin workstation, taking a screenshot as there desktop, set the screenshot as the screensaver, and then assign a key combination password to even get a 'unlock' prompt. still has the same effect, still exposes the vulnerability, but without all the news hype and people rushing to change there cc card numbers.
so they fucked up a network attached to the pentagon. brillant!
the same network that protrects your ass and gives you the 'freedom' to be able to even own a pc to begin with.
now what if the alphabet boys were so taken up with your annoyin DDOS, they actually missed something important going on, and actual human lives were lost because of the downtime? smooth move, exlax...
no, anonymous isnt cool, there a bunch of kids with a pseudo cause looking for attention.
and if your reading this, anonymous, good for you.
change your tactics you need a lesson in basic politics...
inviting change involves winning the masses over to your point of view, not taking away the things they enjoy...
this isnt V for Vendetta, kids, its real life, and your antics are going to do nothing but raise the bar on net security and in turn, as someone has previously stated, pass the cost for that new standard, onto the end users, ie, us.
thanks assholes....
