Could the Gay Marriage and Pro Choice movements inadvertently lead to the extinction of women?
I think if we continue to see scientific and medical advancements along with the mainstream acceptance and promotion of gays and the gay lifestyle we could begin to see gay men getting pregnant and having babies or having clones made and we could see ever increasing abortion rates and maybe the abortion of female fetuses which could bring about the evolution of the human species into an asexual one.

At it's extreme extreme it would more likely lead to the extinction of males. Freeze a bunch of sperm and women can reproduce on their own. Men could never do so.

But people have been gay since the beginning of time so if anyone actually fears it, then it is them who has the problem and only they can cure themselves.

I think thats a very viable theory, not anytime soon. But we're in a very exciting time for humanity. Our technology is rapidly advancing, moores law continues. Women are bodybuilding! i see asexuality a reality..

I think being asexual as a race is completely possible, only if we can survive. Nothing except war and natural disasters will lead the human race into extinction, we should be more clever than that :)

Also sex is just a part of our pleasure center... We can only imagine fucking a girl and snorting coke or dropping E`s to reach maximum pleasure but oh you wait till we figure out how to precisely input signals into our brain :) Thats when feeling anything is possible... We could create feeling we could never imagine and activate it ;)

But in the end I do belive we are going to stop seeing the point in our pleasure centers. A synthetic redisign of the human body will be essential. Think about it, you can just be a brain connected to a computer feeling anything in the world and living a virtual life, whats the point? We could erase our naturally developed mechanism, tolerance. Can you imagine that? Then furthermore carry these facts over to our life and realise what a hedonistic reality we are heading towards, then your gazing at mormonism :D Fuck mormonism :D I`m gonna fuck around with my body and mind if thats kay :D

i don't see what pro choice and gay marriages have to do with the female form at all.. surely just as many males fetuses get aborted as female ones, so in that way i don't see why abortion would do anything to get rid of the female human being.. after all, we've been doing abortions for what, 50 years or so now in this country legally, and i don't see any drop in the females population in that time..
and same for gay marriages, you say about two dudes shacking up and science finding a way for them to get prego, what about gay chics?? there are still plenty of gay women in the world who either adopt or find a sperm donor to have their own kids, hence keeping the need for the woman around for quite a few more years in my eyes..
i'd think if anything, the need for man is decreasing.. being that we no longer have the need for a hunter, ie, a strong man to go out and get the tribe food and what not, the stereotypical need for a man to be around is decreasing the more that technology increases.. it's surely going to be a lot easier to store sperm for years and years, meaning the lesser need for man, than it will be to find a way for dudes to get prego..

yeah we really don't need you guys and you have that defect of a Y chromosome. plus, we are prettier and stronger, we can tolerate more pain. we are more forthright. we rock. bi bi men.

'I like christians, but most "christians" in my honest opinion are sunday morning hypocrites.
To be a christian means to be christ like, the bible says judge not lest ye be judged.. and don't go around telling others they got a splinter in their finger when you got a fucking 2x4 in your eye.

Going around telling me im going to hell.. i think thats judging guys. The christians I admire are the ones who let their actions speak for themselves...

Like you see your friend always doing the right thing, living a good life, happy. you wonder whats his secret..
people telling me if I don't do this im going to hell make me want to run the other way.

Or growing up, seeing your mom and dad living a christian life and being good people, is much more likey to make me want to be a christian, than them telling me from the time Im a kid about the fire and brimstone.

Instead of telling other people whats right and wrong, hows about letting God sort in all out in the end..
sorry for sidetracking your thread, its just the only people i know who have problems with gays are the "christians"/religous extremists, and somehow you included both gay marriage and pro choice... I mean thats usually a sure sign of a christian.. Now remember the bible says if you deny christ he will deny you before his father... so lets hear it... are you a christian?which is pretty damn funny. I went to a potluck at my girls church awhile back, the pastor gave a sermon about gay marriage being bad, tattoos being bad.. yada yada fucking yada... then for lunch they serve roast pork.. and the pastor was wearing a cotton poly blend, clean shaven.

Hate the sin, not the sinner and Christianity should be about faith, not superficial religiousness.

It is SINFUL to treat gays the way I've seen and heard 'christians' do.

I'm not all for the whole Pride movement though- there's no need to rub it in the face of society.

Oh btw, since Jesus came along, Levitican law is outdated ;3 I mean we don't have to give animal sacrifices anymore either which is nice. It's only the Jews that are kinda stuck in the past. They're our buddies and all (well, God's favorite child) but they need to drop a few grudges, hang a bit and get with the times XD

So what you saying is the old testament (supposedly inspired by God, or his own words) became outdated over time:D..

I mean before jesus came you really think it was evil to shave your beard man?

what makes you think the new testament ain't outdated now?

btw I used to be a youth leader in a church, I have read the bible many times. thats why I don't go to church anymore:D

maybe god needs to get with the times and release an updated bible;)

not to start a religious shitstorm of a debate, but the reason the old testament is "outdated" is because of jesus and such..... old biblical laws to appease god were made obsolete....
the new testament does not get "outdated" until the second coming, then I'd imagine there would be new rules.
