My New Closet Re-Design

Hey folks

Well i thought i would just drop a new thread on showing how i am setting up my new closet.

Originally my closet door was in the opposite wall in a completely different bedroom.

Now after taking down a wall to allow for a new door, fitting a piece of Metal Box section into the wall above the door as the ceiling is supporting some of the roof joists and blocking up the other side, i am now ready to begin setting everything up.

I currently have a mother box and am growing my latest strain choice. DINAFEM POWER KUSH (afghani x Skunk #1) This grow may follow, It all depends how much time i have on my hands.

So i am including some pics of the flowering closet pre-door move. And then some pics of how it looks today. (literally 10mins ago)

I am using the following Equipment.

Sun Systems Blockbuster 6inch aircooled hood.
Lumatek 600w Dimmable
SUNMASTER dual spectrum lamp
RVK150L1 for independant lighting system
SMS Single fan speed controller for lighting system fan
RVK125A1 for Exhaust and Filter
Prima Klima 350m3h Carbon filter
WILMA 4 pot system
2x5inch passive intakes.
Timers, Gauges, Testing Equipment etc

Hope you like the pics so far. I will update with more pics once i complete some more work.

Any questions feel free to ask.

Sweet set-up there. Obviously you know what you're doing. As the result in the first picture. Now you can help out those in need.

Today i have mounted the RVK150 and the RVK125 in the attic above the closet on fan mounting brackets.

Attached the attic side 6inch insulated ducting from the lighting system to the fan, the prima klima filter to the 125 and ducted it away from the closet and have fed the fan power cords through the ceiling into the closet.

Tomorrow i will update with pics. I plan on finishing my duct work getting my hood rigged up and adding the extra attic ventilation that i need to stop any problems arising further down the road.

With luck on my side i shall be running a 24hour test on Thursday starting at 6pm GMT .

That looks primo Jo. I need to reconcider my vent/exhaust system for the closet redesign I'll be doing later. Maybe you could help me when the time comes?

Well here we are folks.

The final pics of the setup including attic extraction and extra attic ventilation to make sure i dont suffer with mould etc from years of use.

As you can see i have vertically mounted the RVK150L1 directly above the closet for the lighting system. The exhaust for the lights sits on top of the cardboard box.

The furthest fan away from the centre of the attic is the RVK125A1 that is attached to the Prima Klima Filter.

As you can see temps are stable and have been for the past 1.5hours. I am checking temps during the course of this evening to make sure they dont fluctuate too much. The glass on the Blockbuster is cool to the touch.

There are also some pictures of the extra attic ventilation that i have installed. These little flexible ribs are a beautiful piece of design and if you are in the UK and wish to know where i got them from please feel free to PM me about them. I have 12 of these ribs installed along both sides of my roof felting to create cross ventilation, i have also added soffit vents all along my soffit boards.

I have also included pics of my 4 DINAFEM POWER KUSH plants that will be entering into the closet tomorrow. I shall be topping them and running the closet on 18/6 for a few days to allow the plants to recoup after the stress. The 4 tops that i take off will be getting cloned in the mother box.

Anyway babled on for far too long now. Enjoy.
