Ha, yeah, I didn't expect the smoke report for a while. Congrats again on the fine harvest. To think that I'm hoping for 3 oz from the two plants I currently have under a 400... ha! To be fair, they're autos that I didn't train or scrog, but still.

It's a digi ballast, so no. MH and HPS. And I may be underestimating my yield, but I'd rather be pleasantly surprised.

Ryzla, are your trees going into paper bags after hanging, or are you going straight to jars after the next manicure?

This is a varied topic, every grow has their own method of doing things according to their experiences. I am going to hang for 5-7 days and then into jars 6 hours in, 6 out burping then 12 to 12 this is done for around 7 - 10 days, at this point the stems should snap as all the moisture, water and chlorophyll has slowly been removed. They will get a final dry manicure, removing all the remaining leaves and stalks. The curing process is ready to start which should last about a month the buds can be stored in the jars for weeks the only requirement is to periodically change the air. I've discovered how similar cannabis is to other fineries out there such as an aged wine or a good champagne, and also how the mass production of cheep commercial rip off shit now around will never outdo the smaller local self sustained home growers. I am so glad I now have my own stash. Buzzing :leaf:

The buds are feeling dry on the out side after 4 days of hanging the humidity dropped to 50 percent the last three days. Just put them into glass jars. The dry weight now is at 103.3gs. All the stems have been removed and they had another trim. Will probably loss another few grams when the buds are curing. But 103.3 g's didn't expect that at all.

To be honest I didn't know what to expect when I started flowering them there's little almost no information about low wattages ceramic metal halide grows, so I didn't really have much to go on. Its hard to say weather the 150 cmh is any better than a 150 hps as I've not grown with hps.

I'd have to say the cmh seems better. The better spectrum and decreased heat seems better than what an hps would've given in your situation. Btw those nugs look really good man.

So the final weight came in at 84.9 so a gram over 3oz The buds are really nice and dry after being in the jars.

This is some nice B+/A- weed, wouldn't go as far as saying its a one hit wonder, but It does pack a punch, a half gram joint will get me baked for hours, usually with breaks in-between tokes. Good for any occasion doesn't nail you to the floor boards but puts you in a nice relaxed, cheerful mood with occasionally periods of staring into space thinking about interesting things. I smoked with a couple mates the other day, they all really enjoyed it said it was the strongest they had smoked in a while. Over all I am good for a couple months really happy with the results.

Not for a while sorry Kawizza mate, have some things to do over the next few months. Was thinking maybe starting up again in September that way I would have some ready for Christmas not sure if I can make 3 oz last that long but going to try.

I've been debating over a grow light purchase for 2 weeks now.. Was going to get a 600w switchable but I think this thread just sold me on a 400w CMH.. Thanks.

While the 400w CMH is a better choice than a 400 MH/HPS combo (IMHO), it won' have the coverage that a 600w will so keep that in mind regarding your space and what you are trying to get out of it.

Right.. I have a 12 plant limit though. I plan on getting another 400 or 2 in a couple months..
