nope. fuck gravity.

god chooses who to gravitate and who to let fall.

i am going to go throw myself off the fucking roof right now. i am in god's hands. he will guide me down gently.

oh, and by god, i mean the christian god. that allah mother fucker is a fucking asshole!
This is EXACTLY what I wanted someone to say!!! Great post +rep

the question is ill phrased and it's in the wrong sub-forum.

gravity itself isn't a theory. it's a phenomena described by two scientific publications:

the 'law of universal gravitation' or whatever newton wrote, and einstein's general theory of relativity.

either way what comes up must come down.... that's what she said!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It IS a theory, just like the theory of evolution. But its also CORRECT, just like the theory of Evolution.

It's a law AND a theory. Gravity happens. It just does, no one can argue that.

The THEORY of gravity is an attempt to explain how that force works. Newton had a theory of gravity (which works amazingly well, but is not actually how it works). Einstein also had a theory (which works better than newtons, but still may not fully explain it).

We all know gravity is a lie...we all know angels hold us down so we do not float away...because humans are naturally floaty...no really ever go swimming?

or we can all realize these are "Human" definitions of events witnessed by "Humans". can say the same thing for our grasp on time. Yes we keep track of our earths rotation but once off the planet who are you to say what time it is, or what forces are acting upon what >:O its above our heads ppl.

When did you become so logical?

That is the same thing with Evolution. The Theory of evolution is an attempt to explain how living things which are one way develop into others another way. We see it in species, we see it in DNA, its a fact. But because we have no actual evidence for the empty spaces in between then and now it is a Theory and Religious people jump on it as if Theory means something different.

So then sir Dan Kone discredits sir Isaac Newton and all his work that he did... i bet you proved sir Isaac Newton's work wrong DK in a research laboratory for a leading university?

No. There is no proof because it's just a theory. Maybe an invisible wizard makes stuff fall to the ground. You can't prove that it isn't just magic!

gravity can be a theory in words. but in reality i know gravity exist go jump off a bridge down a freeway and tell me if the laws of gravity applied to you.

why dont you all quit complaining to one another and go to a university and teach a class about this stuff... it seems there is enough 'intelligent' people on these types of threads to teach a 4th world country!!!
