Air conditioning in sealed room help please

A/C units do not vent air from your room to the outside. (think about how ineffecient it would be).

The inside Air is recirculated across the coil (pulling heat out of your room air, expanded freon gas) and the Outside air is drawn across the condenser (pulling heat out of the liquid, condensed freon gas) and vents it outside. So since all the inside air is kept inside your room is essentially sealed.

Thanks alot for the info! and yeaaah I really wanted the window one but are far to expensive for me! I going to have atleast 3000 BTU in excess anyway better safe then sorry. And am having a look for some dual hose ones now but they are difficult to find. Would have been so much easier if I lived over there! haha

As far as I know only the dual hose portable units work on the same principle shown above. Otherwise the single hose unit does in fact pull air out of your room.

I can't find any dual ones on ebay in my country so I might just buy it from US if someone is willing to ship to me
