A/C units do not vent air from your room to the outside. (think about how ineffecient it would be).
The inside Air is recirculated across the coil (pulling heat out of your room air, expanded freon gas) and the Outside air is drawn across the condenser (pulling heat out of the liquid, condensed freon gas) and vents it outside. So since all the inside air is kept inside your room is essentially sealed.
