The liquid fence brand smells like ass. I think it's bear shit or something...lol
But the garlic one's i have tried failed me. Like i said there is many brands. Some even contain blood which i find dumb. seems like it would attract some animals

Liquid fence is the only 100% method i have found.

I always wondered what it smelled like, lol. Never took a wiff only every read the bottle.

So in your experience liquid fence lasts awhile? I feel like my garlic/pepper mix will only last about a week. Even less after it rains.

My problem seems to be rodents rather than deer, so after a few weeks once the plants get bigger I don't use it as much. Last year I almost lost 2 of my best plants because a squirrel or chipmunk was digging at the roots and almost uprooted them. Another trick I do when I'm growing in the ground is dig the hole and fill it at least a few day to a week before I plan to actually set the plants. I feel like the critters are attracted to the fresh soil so it gives them some time to explore before the plants go out.

I appli ti every 2-3 weeks wich is how often i visit my plant's. If i visit more i use it again. But deer dont bother me with this stuff. I used fence this year because i wanted to scrog in it. And kinda slacked off on it and deer ate on the one's i did slack on. I thought fence would protect them but forgot they out grow the fence. My dumb ass attack i guess.

liqiud fence is made right down the road from me. and im freinds with the owner. it last 10inchs of rain and it made from eggs. no pepper or garlic. they also make it with kelp it works pretty good.

Have you guys tried Deer Stopper, it's a NJ product. Heard about it being used in an article out of Seattle a few years back and it's been great for me. They make a protuct called PLOTSAVER too...all ya gotta do is take the "l" out!

Rain today was nice i didn't have to go back. Next year im rigginf up a simple drip irrigation system for around $50. I'm using a water time tht runs on 0 water pressure a few 31 gallon rubbermaid bins and pvc piping and tubing so i only have to go back to my plants once every two weeks to refill the bins. Guna be pretty easy.

I need some serious help. Al ot of my leaves on the bottom look burnt and brown. Its soo hot out here. What do you guys do during these heat waves?

Without pics it could be several thing, but if it's starting at the bottom I don't think it is due to the heat. My guess would be some sort of deficiency. Could be overwatering too but unless you've been hand watering I doubt it.

Are your plants flowering? Cal-mag deficiency was a big problem for me last year in mid flowering. Just speculating.

If you don't have any or can't get pics, we need more info. Plant size, stage of growth, watering and feeding schedule, etc.

Not sure if your question was directed at me, but if it was. I live in the city, so obviously no grow spots here. I drive about 3 hours away, nothing there but woods and cottages. My bestfriend gew up there, and I've been there several times, so we know the area well enough. Typically I get dropped off, sometimes him at a random stop, and we hike for a few miles until we get to our spot. It's a very random spot, nothing around for miles, very thick bush. We plant at most 5 in a spot, then move to the next spot. I find being paranoid in activities like this doesn't hurt. However, I can't give my plants the attention they need sometimes. But at the same time, I am not creating too many telltale trail signs to my sites.

yep, sum been flowering for 3 weeks now. Aurora indica from nirvana everyone started flowering about 2nd week of july and kaya gold about 2 weeks ago. Swiss cheese about a week ago, and NL just showing hairs.

My AI's are yellowing up at the bottom and leaves falling off And all up the plant the big main stalk fan leaves have yellow in them not just one plant every AI, should i be worried.

i just harvested my outside plant. got almost 3 dried oz off of it and it was right at 5 ft of some bagseed.

Maybe aurora indicas are heavy feeders? idk never grew that strain but it sounds like it could just be lacking nitrogen? you been feeding them at all? a lot of bloom nutes have very low N and plants still need it through a good majority of budding, just a thought.

I got a male and a female so im guna leave the male so i get alot of fresh home grown seeds to plant for next year. Im guna do a 30 plant grow next season maybe more. Should be a challenge.
