well, they'll charge you to register it, if you want to micro-chip it, and if you take too long they'll spay/neuter it and it'll cost you...

what the hell does it matter anyways??? i can sort of see why that dog ran away....
Dude you need to chill and smoke a joint you trolling homo s.o.b virgin i bet my dogs get more coochi than you.

Depending on the breed of dog(s) they can run for many miles. Hounds or hunting dogs can wander for literally hundreds of miles especially if they get on the scent of a deer. My dad had fox hounds many years ago. I remember him losing one of his best dogs as it was released on a hunt in West Tennessee and was found in West Arkansas several weeks later so somehow the dog crossed the Mississippi river. Luckily he had the foresight to have a collar on his dog with a stamped plate that included his name, address etc.. Smaller dogs are unlikely to go very far as they are a typically a bit cuter and wind up being fed by whoever they stumble upon. Put out some flyers in the neighborhood, cheap and effective. If you get them back, collar your dogs.

During a remodeling my landlord left the gate open and 2 of my dogs broke out somehow. Wondered off and got lost yesterday. I search everywere with no luck and i cant call the pound for they are not registered. I hear storys of peoples dogs getting lost and a far far place like 45 miles away and the dog found his way home a month later. So im hoping my dog can do the same since thier within the city, they had a few experiences roaming the streets but i was always searching till i found them but in this case they roamed all night when i was sleeping.
I know thiers alot of rui members have dogs protecting thier crops and owners, my question is for a dog that was not neglected, been here all thier life and was treated well, what are the chances of them cooming back?
This is irrelevant but years ago I lost my cat for 2 days and I found her 60 feet up in a tree. I wasn't allowed to go to school that day because I had to stay home and wait for tree climbers to get her. She was so terrified that when I spoke to her she relaxed and was able to poop.... not good for me who was under the tree.

lol i let my cat wander around outside, as long as she has the flea medication in and i brush her afterwards. the little fucker likes to roll around out there and get all dirty.

lol.... i'm not the one who's dogs run away.... i'm not the one worried about how much it'll cost to get a dog back... i'm not the one with unregistered dogs....

your the one that needs to chill...

next time, register your dogs, microchip them. it'll take but 30 minutes to get em back.....

and don't forget to spay/neuter your pet. they don't need coochi, making more animals filling the shelters.

telling ya, check craigslist. put up flyers.

a buddy of mine's cat walked out of his 3rd floor apartment one day he had a party. some idiot left the door open when he went outside for a cig. these cats are indoor cats, always lived in the apartment, they wouldn't make it outside... it was SUPER cold too...

the cat didn't turn up for 2 weeks. he put up flyers and the cat had been staying at some lady's house who owned cats and didn't want that one taken to the pound... it might be at some neighbors house.... put up the flyers, check craigslist, but most importantly microchip it... that way you don't even need to keep a tag on it... at the ASPCA it's only like 30 bucks....

if your dog runs away it's not happy... you have to work better with that dog... i've owned dog my whole life, i can't remember living in a house without a dog and i came home from school hundreds of times to find my dogs sitting at the door..... they didn't run away..... they were scared and alone.... but running away??? that's unheard of.... even the dog i have now, it's adopted, at first he'd run to the door to try and run away, now i can walk him without a leash...... do a better job with your dog man.....

check craigslist too!!! community/pets
yea that 100% not true, my dog gets out all the time bc he likes to roam around and check the enviroment out, he also treats it like a game, i'll chase him all around town, he never leaves my site always just outta reach, i say screw it to head on home and ill almost be home and he's trailing behind me, he likes being chased and trying to outwit me, its a big game game of cat n mouse to him, and whenever he gets out, he'll be back at the door to get let inside, in an hour or two. and who r u to tell ppl that their bad pet owners, my dog runs away, but if he were unhappy he wouldnt come back an hour later, its just his personality, he's a husky and he loves to run wild, which he doesnt get too do on a leash

I lost my son on Sept. 11th last year, he was a great cat who I had the pleasure of spending 17 great years with.

People say they're pets, I don't think so... if you consider them pets you're rather cold, they are considered children to me and I love them just as much as I would a human child.

Keep your head up, and when you're ready... get out there and rescue a dog from that death row prison they call a shelter.
