if your referring to me, i speak only from experience, this is what happened to me, for some reason your results may differ from mine, but my past experiences dictate my future judgement and actions. so for me and how i grow Yes Im Sure.
Couple questions...
You say warm do you mean the water of your aeroponics or the temps in the grow room, and what is warm above 80 f?
Also, what Ph do you use. I've read 5.8 just about everywhere (including here and several
grow books) but have been told by several really old guys who have grown 40 years that they aeroclone
at 6.5 - 7 for their water.
I have been doing aero-cloning for 2 years and have used both Olivia's and Clonex. I think that using the Gel's in the aerocloner probably slowed the root growth more than anything, I noticed a 'jello like buildup' exactly where I put a thin coat of Gel for all my attempts. My first attempt I had 40% strike rate after 4 weeks. Second - fifth attempt, I had 60% strike rates, again after 4 weeks, with one where I had Ph problems and lost all 12 clones.
It wasn't until last month I heard to not use any Gel or powder in an aerocloner. I was told that best result is just a tiny bit of Superthrive in the water.
I'm really stuck on this Ph thing though. I always ran 5.8 for the cloner and am thinking about doing both no-gel and higher Ph for my next go, but I don't want to change too many variables at once.
