I clearly made my point, if you either can't understand it or refuse to recognize it, that is not my problem.
Oh I'm sorry, I didn't realize how many imaginary lines I was supposed to read between the two sentences you provided. You're right, it's my fault for putting as much effort into understanding you as you put into making your statement.

FYI, a lack of arguments is another fallacy.

Sometimes I can only find songs online (free). ITunes and the like don't have every single song out there. What then?

Deny it all you like, technology has advanced, but only for those who are willing to pay for it. Not much room for development for free loaders.

As an artist myself, my concern is not for the corporations, rather it is for the artists who suffer from a lack of opportunity to be heard.

It's been a year and five days since Radiohead released In Rainbows as a name-your-own-price download. In that year the band and its publishing company Warner Chappell, which oversaw the novel release, have kept mum about its success. But today we are getting a little closer to finding out how much cha-ching Radiohead banked from the whole gimmick as details were revealed on the topic during the You Are in Control at the Iceland Airwaves music festival.
So far total sales figures for the physical, digital and box-sets of In Rainbows are up at the 3 million mark. Of those 3 million 1.75 were physical copies. (Hail To The Thief only sold 994,000 total in the US since its release in 2003) Warner Chappell's Head of Business Affairs Jane Dyball did not reveal any solid numbers yet, but did suggest that the name-your-own-price download was successful.
According to her the publishing company, which gave the band all master recording rights and image and likeness rights for the novel download release structure, still made more money solely off the In Rainbows name-your-own-price download release than they did off the entire release of Hail to the Thief. (Note: Radiohead held out on Itunes for its previous digital releases.)

Don't give me that excuse.

You must be dreaming if you think new musicians can benefit from the recognition Radiohead had for the release of their their seventh album.

Do you know any musicians?

Do you want tips on how to get away with it? :)

One way, Download helper firefox plugin or similiar, just go on video.google.com and search for any song or movie and download it from the flash then convert it to mp4 or mp3.

Second resort, rent a server and just download to it and then to your computer, download through secure encrypted connection., you can get one for like 5$ a month.

Third: setup utorrent so its using a proxy, TOR as a last result, use a common port number for everything a port that a game uses or something, make sure its using full encryption+other security settings(including hide your ip from seeders etc..) and throttle your upload really low and cap your max upload per day to only like 1GB.

even better, combine all this and run linux and encrypt and secure everything - use selinux - secure your local network also.

§ 107. Limitations on exclusive rights: Fair use40

Notwithstanding the provisions of sections 106 and 106A, the fair use of a copyrighted work, including such use by reproduction in copies or phonorecords or by any other means specified by that section, for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching (including multiple copies for classroom use), scholarship, or research, is not an infringement of copyright. In determining whether the use made of a work in any particular case is a fair use the factors to be considered shall include —
(1) the purpose and character of the use, including whether such use is of a commercial nature or is for nonprofit educational purposes;
(2) the nature of the copyrighted work;
(3) the amount and substantiality of the portion used in relation to the copyrighted work as a whole; and
(4) the effect of the use upon the potential market for or value of the copyrighted work.
The fact that a work is unpublished shall not itself bar a finding of fair use if such finding is made upon consideration of all the above factors.

Well technically their are no "better" links when the movie is posted the second it is shown around the world.. So unless you know the producer your not seeing and better copy of new movies until maybe a few days later.. I am talking about the second it is released you can watch it on bootleg, no way your watching them over the web in better quality than a bootleg if it was released 1 hour before.
nah this site is wack
i can find abetter source rather than looking for a link.

I don't support piracy laws. My opinion is that music should be free. We have the technology to share it - so we should.
