Ok so the ladies are like 13-14 tall so gonna put them into flower today!
Only problem is I was never able to get my hands on the cmh bulb. The fastets I can get it is like 2 weeks cuz everyones gta special order them and If I wait that long the ladies will be too big. So I think im just gonnna go pick up a regular hortilux eye or whatever its called. From what I've heard thhats the best for fllowering with MH.
This is my first time using MH to flower so if anyone knows what the best bulb for this is please let me know.
Im also not goingg to be setting up a veg room for a lil while because im low on cash and a couple other issues. So im going to give 2 of the moms(sfv,blackerry og) 1 of my platinum bubbas and a cut of the pre98 to my buuddy so that he can mother all those untill ii get my veg room set up
I also wanted to spray some neem oil today cuz its been 4 ddays since last spray. Do u guys think that's a bad idea to spray before I put them into flower or no?
Ill take and post some good pics today of each lady when I get home tonight.

hey man im gonna upgrade my lights to the hps and mh gotta research them a little more because i dont know much about them but they sound and look great, im still gonna be using CFLs for filler light thinking about putting some sockets around the lower sides of my box, gonna be a couple months before i get this new set up goin because i have to work but over the winter im gonna get her ready...
and sorry i cant give you advice on the neem oil cause i dont even know what it is never used it or seen it before!!
That's great man. Those lights will def improve everything. You should def look into a MH set up with ceramic bulbs (pretty much mh and hps technology in one bulb) . U can use the same bulb for veg n flower and it produces a lot less heat then reg mh bulb . If u ever want to swich to hps u can just get a conversion bulb

Fuck I just typed a long ass thing in here and accidently closed the window so gonna make it short cuz im too lazy to retype it all.
Went out and bought an agrosun(hydrofarm) gold mh bulb which has a red spectrum as well as the regular blue. On the box they claim that it hps and mh in one bulb. Not sure how true there claim is but anyways, once I looked at the bulb I realized that it for enclosed fixtures only and mine is an open fixture. Mh bulbs can explode so runnin an uprotected bulb in an open hood is not a good idea.
So because of this I decided to get the cmh (protected bulb so I can use it in my open hood). I called advanced tech lighting and they shipped one out for express so it shouldbe here tommorow. I talked to thomas (tech guy) for almost an hour who was very helpful and explained a lot interesting things aboutt these lights. I learned more about lighting from him in that hour then I have my whole life haha. Very intelligent dude.
He also told me that the cmh retro for the hps ballast is actually a little bit bettter then the cmh for mh ballast(the one I got). He also told me that for a fact they will not selling anything higher then 330w cmh because once you go higher then 330w the bulb becomes very innaficient and is overkill for the plants. The other reason they are no selling them to the everyday consumers like us is because of safety reasons. They have already been making higher wattage cmh bulbs for some time now, they have them all the way upto 2500w but for industrial use only. I will try to get more detailed written explanation from him so I can post it in a thread for everyone to see. So sorry to everyone that was waitin on a 600 or 1000w cmh. You wont be able to get them (you don't want them that high anyways)

Nice thanks man i will get one of them for sure they are full spectrum hey? do you think the 330w would be over kill for 2-4 plants?

Cool, sorry if i already asked or you already said but where did you order, i need the bulb and ballast and im not having much luck finding these particular setups all i see is 75 watt bulbs for cmh the rest come up MH Conversion?? im lost lol

So the cmh finally came friday. Unfortenutly I want home when the fedex guy came so had go to go pick itt up from fedex. Had to deal with a bunch bullshit with tthe workers thhere and finally after an hour of argueing she found my package. Fuck fedex!
Anyways... so I puut the bulb in yesterday and I started the 12/12 cycle today. Im very impressed with the light it puts out. The color looks identical to an hps (red/orange) and is way brighter then the 400w sylvania I had in tthere. Not much of temp drop, like 2 degrees but I will check the high temp today to find out exactly how much of a difference it made. So overall im very happy with the cmh.
On the bad note... found a couple issues.
1st. Found a leaf with weird brown spots? Maybe necrosis? I only found this on one single leaf. Pic below. If anyone has any idea chime in. I was thinkin maybe just burn spots from some neem oil that did dry up but I ono. Never seen anything like this
2nd. Found a few leaves with white spots on em. Almost looks like mildew but it looks like almost dried elmers glue. Some of the white spots are actually raised from the leaf so they feel like lil bumps. Some of the bigger spots like one in the pic below has lil tiny lil black dots inside the white spot. I checked and its not mites. This stuff is only on one plant and on the very bottom leaves. I trimmed off the real bads since they were barely gettin any light anyways. The leaves are also curled down and "tacoing" down towards the ground.
3rd. Once I switched the bulb to cmh the plants drooped down a lot. Especially the tops. The soil was a lil dry so it could of been frorm that but im thinking it was from the difference in spectrums. Once I raised the light and watered most of them sttarted coming back up, but not 100%. Gonna check again when lights come on at 9 to see if their any better. Has anyone experienced this before?

Oh yeah I got to fly in a cessna for the first time over the weekend. Got to fly it myself for about an hour. So much fun! I think im gonna go get my pilots license now. We did a 100 foot free fall to feel a negative g force and man was that crazy. Rollercoaster X 1000 only way I can explain the feeling.
