Awww, that sucks about the hermi. If one of mine turned hermi i would keep it also. I smoke pot with seeds in it all the time :D.:leaf:


My plants are so bushy, i can bend colas back using leaves coming from other colas. So, i'm bending the tallest ones making them 2"-3" shorter, Have't had to adjust my lights yet. I will keep bending and see how it goes.

That's funny as hell, I remember when the plant was under all that red string.

I know, its amazing. I really did't expect them to get that big. Do you think its because of the 18gal bin they are in? I planted them on 6.20 always 12/12. I switched the light over to 11/13, I read an article about growing indoor sativa.(posted link on pg. 22 or 21) They said its better to veg with 13/11 and flower with 11/13. Shes been on it for 2 days, well see how they look in a week or so.

Irie, I used to have a plant in my bedroom, it's seriously unhealthy to stress yourself out that much during your sleep.
I feel for you. I used to wake up at 4am to a 40w 5000k CFL pointed at me.

Nice idea bro! Try switching to 10/14 in another few weeks.
Yes the 18 gallons of root space will make them monsters.

Two plants right?

thx :D. Yea, two plants, totally different bags. The younger ones leaves look more indica, but its growing taller than the older one, so i top most of the larger colas. Its still in early flower, i think it will be ok. The other plant is going untouched along with the younger one, seeing how i can bend the tops any way i want now.

thats about what ive been doing, no matter how many times i say "oh this will be good now" the next day another shoot is heading for it.

:lol: Right, its helping a lot. I keep bending them out of the way.

Finally.. My tops are starting full flower. Took long enough. :D. So now ill only have to worry about keeping them kinda even. The younger plant looks like it got out of veg yesterday :lol: j/k. It still has a week to catch up. Clones are doing great as are the 2 bag seeds i planted the other day (24oz bottles). My mini SoG. :leaf:

I might update some pics today or tomorrow.:eyesmoke:

What exactly is the point of scrogging if you are going to LST? I am thinking about scrogging but I don't see many benefits. Maybe it is the way I LST, I keep all fan branches down flat on the soil and allow ONLY the bud spots to rise therefor all light directly hits the bud spots then the light that misses goes into the fan leaves. Could you please explain this to me, I really like your grow just don't fully understand the usefulness of scrogging.

I just lst'd also. I was going to setup the scrog screen but the plants would have out grew it by a lot.:D

I need to finish that LST book I started..
I'll try to get that up in a week.

The bulb wasn't close enough to tan..
Sounds great, keep it up!

Oh and if you LST all the branch tips to the same exact height, they should stop stretching past eachother for the light.

Highlife, I love the idea of using 2liter bottles as humidomes, did you come up with that?
