Rob, Hopefully we're dropping by the sour d's at your place tomorrow, and then drinking a beer. I have a ducks foot for both you and Andrew, but I'm a little concerned to give it to Andrew, I don't know if his backyard will stay warm enough in the winter, I don't know what the weather is like at the base of the hill when it's 32f up here. If it get's too cold I might give both of them to you Rob, I just know they will do a lot better if they stay warm all the time.... I guess I can give one to Andrew and if it starts getting cold we can bring it your steamy greenhouse.

k here is the fan alota found on craigslist. comes with duct and the fan all brand new for 100. lives in corona and the pushes 720 cfm..a lot!

also repotted the 4 dixie cups into 3 gallon smart pots. had to buy some soil. no biggie. now we need a ph meter! otherwise havin all this fancy stuff is useless. i think ima cut the sour grapes in a week if it keeps declining. the p kush is so lovely looking no probs at all.

I use that exact same fan in my bloom room, which has a growable floor space of 4x8, which is what I describe it as here on RIU, but it actually measures out to 5.5 x 9.5, but because someone did a hack job of pouring the basement, we can't use all that space, although I am thinking of raising the floor way up, and then downgrading to 3 400w, but adding in 3 LED's to stagger in a zig zag almost to save a little power and add a whole lot more light. This way I'll be able to use the actual dimensions of the grow room. This is the idea for the light lay out, X's are HID, O's are LED, not that it really matters.

Anyways, I'm trying to get as high as possible in 10 minutes just for kicks, so forgive me if I go off on shit like that, I'm just so ultra mega stoned. It's a good thing!
But that fan is loud as fuck! Super fucking loud! I mean, it is a great value, I saw that on CL earlier today and almost bought it just as a back up. You are not only going to be sleeping with this thing on and making a lot of roaring loud noise, you are going to have it's hot air blowing on you. 6" is my suggestion, a quiet one like a canfan, somebody also advertises themselves as the quietest fan on the market, can't remember who, you see them advertised in MaximumYield all the time. Check OC CL, Anaheim is only 45 min away from you bro, when freeways are clear, of course. I'd plan that trip around traffic. Anaheim is a little closer than that actually, I can get from Westminster/Knott's area to BestBuy in SBerdo in 45 minutes, and that is even considering me primping like a little girl in the parking lot.
Transplanting was totally necessary good job getting on it. I hate transplanting, lol, but I always do it on scheduled days. Always a big day. EC/TDS/Temp meter is available from HM Digital. They are fucking awesome, they are extremely accurate and extremely affordable for what you are getting, they sell a waterproof pen-type model for like 60/70 bucks. They also have a sweet non waterproof one that just does TDS for like 20 bucks, but you have to be very careful not to dip it to far in. Oakton makes a really nice waterproof pH meter that is also the pen-type for 50/60 bucks.

The fan was a good deal.. has tons of upgrade capability .. I also recommended he spend 15 bucks on a fan speed controller .. which would eliminate almost all sound and would be quieter than a 6 inch running at a higher speed to achieve the same flow 
I also think the fan speed controller will be needed since you have no other way to control your temps in that room.. so if it gets to hot.. turn her up... too cold .. turn her down... If your running the t5 you can run her lower.. since there is less heat.. If you ever use the tent to flower with hps .. you can turn her back up an wont need to upgrade your fan..

Once again you guys are really doin awesome helping us get started i never knew about these fans but i do now. So when ever me and andrew or maybe joshkins we can go get that fan. The controller makes sense also alotta. Were do i get one of those? The girls look great thank you both for taken your time to do that for me!

Just train it, topping is a great technique, and with enough time to recover can give you a greater, or at least more even in quality yield, since you guys could be sticking it outside to flower in a week or 2, i would just bend her over and tie her down, she'll bush out just fine without losing her biggest top if the other branches don't catch up enough. This is my opinion.

You're welcome dude, if I'm not learning I am reviewing, which is just as important. You can also pick up a fan speed control from harbor freight for 10 bucks, they just call it a router speed control, same thing, identical. But I always like to support privately owned business personally, so I go to the hydro shop even when it's available at Lowes or HarborFreight, unless I'm flat broke. Lol
....Nevermind, it's 20 bucks at harborfreight too, I guess the sale ended.
