I don't like to see people die Buck. Believe it or not I'm not a huge supporter of the death penalty. But do you have any idea how much money it costs innocent taxpayers to keep killers alive for the remainder of thier natural life? I could pull some #s for you.....
so, you are willing to see innocent people executed for the monetary savings?

and in a lot of places, it is cheaper to keep them in prison for life as it costs more to go through all the appeals etc.

but if you want to advocate for the death of some innocent citizens because it saves you a penny, go ahead.

jack seems to think america is based off some theocracy. sadly for him, we are based on the constitution, which makes very clear in the 14th amendment that gays should have the right to get married just as straight people do.

kinda funny how he rails against those scary muslims and their sharia law, while advocating bring his christian version of sharia law to our shores.

sorry jack, check the first amendment. no can do.

As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion,—as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquility, of Mussulmen,—and as the said States never entered into any war or act of hostility against any Mahometan nation, it is declared by the parties that no pretext arising from religious opinions shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries.

The Treaty of Tripoli (Treaty of Peace and Friendship between the United States of America and the Bey and Subjects of Tripoli of Barbary) was the first treaty concluded between the United States of America and Tripolitania, signed at Tripoli on November 4, 1796 and at Algiers (for a third-party witness) on January 3, 1797. It was submitted to the Senate by President John Adams, receiving ratification unanimously from the U.S. Senate on June 7, 1797 and signed by Adams, taking effect as the law of the land on June 10, 1797.

Yes, it's a culture war between traditional American Judeo/Christian values and the new-age progressive Godless agenda. Bullseye.

that's not what you said originally.

always changing the goalposts. cheap trick.
Goal posts have not moved. I support the decision should be left up to the states. My vote is no. If the people disagree and say yes, then I'm not going to use the judicial system to try and overturn democracy.

And why don't we just ship them to Siberia or somewhere? We can pay a fraction of the costs just letting them be somebody elses problem...

something in the constitution about cruel and unusual punishment.

thought a big bad constitutionalist like yourself might know that.

now go ahead and vacillate on that statement like you do with all your others.

this ain't a theocracy, jack.

all citizens of this country get equal rights.

want a theocracy? move to iran. you'll fit right in.
This has never been a "theocracy" and marriage has always been between a man and a woman in this country. You have no point. You move to Iran since you love Islam so much.
