I think you should really take a class in economics, The real reasons the economy is fucked are many, here's a few: Bush is spending more than he takes in, due to a couple of reasons, ;1 Tax cuts for the wealthiest 2%, 2 the unnecessary war in Iraq./ Then you have the corporations laying off thousands, the cost of everything (especially Medical) going up faster than wages, and yes, the influx of millions of illegal immigrants taking jobs from the lower end of the American workforce. This is something corporations love as it brings the price of labor down accross the board. Here is the Key word in illegal immigrants, ILLEGAL, this means in case you don't know it, NOT LEGAL. So lets start from there. If you want to participate in our wonderful country and have all the benefits we have, then start by coming here legally. Then continue on by learning our language and culture. Get an education and move up the ladder. We have enough dumb asses here already without bringing 20+ million uneducated illegals here. It sounds like you are legal by proxy, but non-theless legal so I am not tirading against you, but hey you tell me, what are all the American uneducated supposed to do for work. When I was young, you could always get a job in construction, paid pretty well also. Now, all construction jobs in my area are owned by illegals, and the going wage is half of what it was. This is why I say the corporations love them, more work for less money, the plutocratic way!

I have no problem with legal immigration, but with the influx of workers from the southern lands, comes drugs and criminals. We must get control of our borders. We have enough home grown retards and criminals, we don't need to import them. What do you make of the mexican army helping drug smugglers and coyotes bring in illegals, even shooting at our border patrol, some balls eh. They need to arm the national guard and then see how fucking brave those assholes are! A few 50 cal hummers and light tanks with 40MM cannons would soon discourage those dickheads.

I've been in the states for the better part of 22 years. I got to say I love this country. I originally migrated here with my folks in the 80's from Colombia in the hopes of a better education and better living conditions. Most people that imigrate to this country be it legally or illegally are looking for the same thing a better quality of life. They might not have this need to leave there home land and come here if it was not for the U.S. government (fucking) with them abroad. i.e. Stealing there natural resources and putting those countries in finacial stress. OK, so much for the island post, that was a frivoulous gesture anyway, now on to the real question, What about 12-20+ Million illegals bringing crime and wage reduction to this country, what about securing our borders from terrorists and drugs and criminal trespass. I've already stated I'm not a racist and I have nothing against LEGAL immigration, so how do we solve this dillema, how do we stem the tide of illegals? Here's one way, Fine and imprison owners and CEOs of companies that hire illegals, give a boss 1-5 in a state prison, and the jobs would dry up and or be turned over to the poor in this country. Yeah, I know there are a lot of people (You call lazy) that won't get out of bed for 5.50 an hour. Well 5.50 an hour is 220.00 a week, what the hell can you do with 220.00 a week and after taxes, that would be under 200.00, so why bother. Pay a liveable wage and those "lazy" people will come out of the woodwork. Profits are so high right now compared to wages that it isn't funny. So my solution is fine and imprison people that hire illegals and pay a liveable wage to citizens! Pretty simple I'd say! PS. Stupid is as stupid does.

Not true o wise one. The vast majority are just workers looking for a better life as you contend. But, look at it this way, in Mexico, if you are caught commiting a crime, you either get shot, or do hard time in a mexican prison. here if you get caught, you get sent back to mexico unless it's a major crime like murder, and then you might get sent back to face a Mexican court(No death sentence in Mexico) or stand trial here. At least here you get 3 meals and a cot. Now also you must consider the fruits of their labor (Criminals) There are a lot more high value targets here in the US and the criminal element from Mexico know that in spades. The US is just a huge fruit bowel waiting to be plundered. Here in Vegas, I'd guess at this time, at least 40% of the crime is being commited by illegal criminals (and That is a low estimate). Hell there's at least 3-5 gang type murders a week here. It used to be the Blacks that had a lock on gang murders, not now. 3 out of 4 are mexican gangs. MS13 is alive and well in this country. I have a carry permit, I hardly ever carry, although the statistics say I should, as carjackings are at a record high. In Nevada. you can pretty much shoot a stranger if he threatens your life and you believe him, someone you know is much harder to get away with. Sometimes I take my colt .45 model 1911 with me if I'm going to a rough part of town, of course I try and avoid those places if possible. I realize that caution is better than recklessness. Ther was a case about a year ago where an illegal threatened a motorist at a signal light, knocket out his driver side window with a crow bar and the driver shot him in the head at point blank range, a .45 BTW and blew 1/3 of the guys face off. The driver walked with no blemish on his record, and he didn't even have a carry permit. Justice was served! I always take my .45 with me on vacations, I keep it out of sight but handy, you never know and being a seniour citizen I realize I'm a prime target for gutless scumbags, So scumbags beware, bang bang you're dead!
