ok so a guy got busted yesterday.
Story goes cops show up with helicopters above, they take plants that were planted outside, they go into a barn that had its door open and then they leave.
However, they did not go into the house so one would think they didn't have a warrant or "right" to do so. It seems the helicopters saw the plants outside and the barn door was open so they had cause to go inside.
So my question is why didn't they go inside the house? Is having plants on your property not enough probable cause to go inside or would it be used as evidence to gain a search warrant for the house?
