Stemless is like my what mine and verdes bongs are. How its the 90 degree elbow that goes straight into the perk system. there is no downstem/diffuser.
 
Aaah, no downstem. Gotcha, thanks. :) Even as a glass blower the terminology can be confusing sometimes. Why is stemless preferred for both of you?

Ah yeah no problem. =) And personally for me, two reasons. Main one being that stemless pretty much eliminates all drag and gives you a slightly airier hit, which is what i perfer. And two being that i break downstems like a madman. hahaha. Ive broke every downstem ive ever owned in the process of cleaning it.

with the 18mm sovereignty the thing has crazy good airflow.... You literally have to pull your breath enough to bring the water level down to the bottom of the stemless diffuser and all the smoke just comes around and falls UP the tube..... it's really a great every-day experience...... the oil is much more airy and diffused.... tastes smoother, cleaner and less stuffy out of my soverignty...



that doesn't even touch on how easy it is to clean either.... I put on my 18mm stopper (from dankshizzle ;) ) fill up with ISO and Salt and swish for 4 minutes and its spotless..... don't have to take any stems out and wipe down the outside, it's just all one + the dome / male + male adapter.....

btw kitty I just filled your dish for the first time today.... made a good 7.5 of some amazingly stable oil in my electric pump.....
 
I'm open for anything.... but in the less than $350 range for a nice little piece I think stemless.... if I was going to get a nice regular stem oil piece, i would be getting a curve with a ti pad... nice with some work on it..... it's a different thing to me...


but like multiple stemmed diffusers I'm just not a fan of... they look cool but dont function as well as a well done stemless piece I think...
