one of my boys always thought they were hooking him up bc when he asked them for cheeseburger they always gave him doubles. i had to explain that they just assume double unless you ask for the single

Sounds like maybe a salsa type of ordeal. Sounds good either way :D

I'm stuck running the kitchen these days, when i used to work behin the counter and made up sarnies, i used to think i made the best sandwhich in town! or at least that part of town :p 20m down the road there is a coffee shop, £4.25 for any old sarnie, boring, no filly, you name it. So i made em with near an inch of filling, even catering to poxy veggies, fallafel mango chutney an humus :/ for £3

Think it might be time for a baguette competition? :D If justification is needed just make it as lunch for the family :D

Cheese not melted though, that could present itself as an issue.

I made some heart attack burgers for lunch today. You take slices of bacon and cut the into 4 inch slices. Cook them in a skillet. When the bacon is done, take it out and place it on a paper towel covered plate (to soak up the excess bacon fat). Then cook your 4 oz. ground beef patties in the bacon fat left in the skillet. I toast the buns in the same skillet as the burgers. First I dip them in the bacon grease and then toast them off to the side. I put salt, pepper and garlic powder on the patties. When done I put the bacon strips on the meat and cheese on top of that. Once the cheese is melted, I place on the toasted buns with tomatoes, onions, pickles and lettuce. On the bottom bun I spread a mixture of mayo and mustard that I premixed before cooking. This is a once every two to three months kind of meal. I usually cook these when I need protein. :p (whatever excuse works)

Start with a good multi grain bread. Thickly sliced Mennonite Summer Sausage that has been hung for at least a year. 4 year old white Canadian Chedder at this point it goes into an oven for about 5 minutes on broil. Fresh tomatoes with freshly ground pepper and your choice of sauce....Mayo,Mustard,Ranch,Italian.

Eat em up
