Male + Female Plants = Seeds????

The reason of this thread is because I'm quick to see when growing to sex the plants and "DISCARD OF MALES IMMEDIATELY" ok, well can anyone provide any logical reasoning for this other than the pollen exposure?

Because what is causing a conflict for me with this is the fact if you go buy some shwank off the streets it's dried, smokeable, and w/ seeds. So my thing is, how did the plant make it through a full cycle? Aren't males required around to produce seeds in the female plants?

I mean I know there is a whole stigma around having males dormant w/ females but it's starting to seem like a marketing ploy to keep the seedbanks in business. Anyone care to clear this up for me? Because I would think getting these great stains to produce seeds would save lots of people money instead of having to buy them over and over again.

Can anyone weigh in and give me the 411 on the pros and cons? I want to have them produce seeds as I don't want to keep having to buy them. (how??)

I'm sure there is someone out there that feels if not exactly the same but at least shares my point of view to a certain extent on this matter.

I would say if your shwag has seeds in it , then its "most" likely because it hermied therefore no male plants was required.if u wanna make some seeds u literally only need to pollinate 1 plant and u will get 1000,s of seeds...

If a female gets pollon then its stop producing thc and makes seeds


No male plants = no seeds= better high/ bud

or your shwag is exactly that...shwag grow in some guirilla grow where they dont give a shit about seeds.

baisicly your going for seedless buds, if you want to mate them then pull 1 female and 1 male (all you need for tons of seeds) aside and let em mate to get them seeds. your other plants keep seperate because seeds take the place of bud and i would rather more bud than a bazillion seeds.

I thought the an swer was obvious...of course you dont want males. your bud is lower quality and quantity when it seeds...maybe I am missing the question. Instead of growing for seeds...CLONE!

im not sure what a resin pouch is dude. google dont know either, seeds are fine just more bud without, if you want to mate do it with specific plants no need to pollinate your entire crop all you need is a handfull of seeds.

No schwag at least here in the Us is mexican weed which is grown outdoors....some of the growers out there will pull some of the males out but usually they can never pull all of them since they have big fields of cannabis growing resulting in seeds........Op if you want seeds do selective breeding....have an isolated area exclusively for breeding to produce your own seeds.........you don't want a male in there with all your girls......1 viable pollen sac can produce thousands of seeds so imagine a whole bunch of pollen sacs from 1 plant......all your buds would be nothing but seeds with little smokable herb.......

sometimes cloning isnt always an option tho when u can only grow outdoors, then you would want the seeds to save for next year.

his question is why do people buy expensive seeds over and over when they could just make thier own, and alot of people do that already...and if your not smart enough too then well buy em up.

in mexico where shwag comes from they have plants to grow in fields and they dont pull the males the males pollenate the female and seeds are created and some drop for the next year so they dont have to plant them again. and they dont really have to tend to them

Yea I'm from aus , yeah your rite it would most likely by just normal seeds..I've seen on tv and I no mexicans wouldn't go to the effort of finding all the males lol

There is no such thing as 100% female seeds....there is a very small chance you can still get a male but for the majority part they will be female.........there are a few ways 1 is to stress induce a female to produce male pollen sacs and with that pollen pollinate another female.....another way is to apply colloidal silver to a choice female....the colloidal silver will make the female produce male pollen sacs.....collect the pollen pollinate a choice female and you will have fem seeds...

This confuses me too but I read that your females will get juicy-er with a male present. Like they sence sex and start to produce the thc. Only thing is not to pollenate, My second grow now and i got a male revegging right now with four flowering females, can't notice anything spectacular, i think i got another new male starting so we'll see with a fresh one.

As far as I know this is not true......a female will produce more resin to in hopes to catch male pollen the later it goes into flower when it hasn't been pollinated..... a male being present doesn't do anything......

^^Can a virgin female produce pussy juice? yes. Will a virgin pussy get wet without a male? no. (unless self induced) does a female naturally get induced? no. So you need a male or there's a pretty good chance your thc has no pop. IMO.

If you 'don't' got a male you can always do a little strip for her to try and turn her on. :)

oopps, when a female gets prego it's the blood that goes to the seed (baby) So if it's the blood that's the thc, and not the pussy juice, females will produce blood naturally. Hence, you don't need a male.
