My Little grow thread

lets start with the basics i try to keep to organic lines of base nutes although as this thread progresses you will see i make my own most of the time;) some things i do buy alot are:what!! 009.jpgwhat!! 006.jpg
i love humic/fulvic acic and will post links to research about humic/fulvic and carbon cation exchange. i make compost teas in my home with sucanate and earthworm castings as the base... tons of other stuff thown in as the plants say they need it:)
threw in a pic of sweettooth #3 about five weeks in with 1.2 ec 5.9ph 1000ppm co2 my grow setup is currently sealed, bottled co2, 70 pint per day dehumid, 10000 btu window unit , lots of fans and i installed a cool deluxe halide lamp to the corner to ripen and intesify the thc production with its high purple and green spectrum....816.jpg857.jpg746.jpg819.jpg

Very nice! Ive always been interested in the fulvichumic acid thing, however I run a recirculating dwc system. Do you have any opinion on this?

My initial finding are that it tends to get clogged up in filters that I use to keep sprayers clean ect... I dont think this necessarily is anything bad but it does only happen when I use the humic acid.

Edit : Whats you c02 usage? How fast do you use up lets say a 50lbs tank or 100lbs tank? Thanks!

into the greenhouse! 136.jpgi use a 50 lbs tank in nine days at 1000ppm....

This is a humic link I would use just fulvic if I was in hydro look at this link it's cool stuff real research from texas a&m
Because of the relatively small size of fulvic acids (FA) molecules they can readily enter plant roots, stems, and leaves. As
they enter these plant parts they carry trace minerals from plant surfaces into plant tissues. Fulvic acid (FAs) are key
ingredients in high quality foliar fertilizers. Foliar spray applications containing fulvic acid (FA) mineral chelates, at
specific plant growth stages, can be used as a primary production technique for maximizing the plants productive capacity.
Once applied to plant foliage fulvic acids (FAs) transport trace minerals directly to metabolic sites in the plant cells. Fulvic
acids (FAs) are the most effective carbon containing chelating compounds known. They are plant compatible, thus nontoxic, when applied at relatively low concentrations.
HUMATES - Humates are metal (mineral) salts of humic (HAs) or fulvic acids (FAs). Within any humic substance there
are a large number of complex humate molecules. The formation of a humate is based on the ability of the carboxyl (-
COOH) and hydroxyl (-OH) groups (on the outside of the polymers) to dissociate (expel) the hydrogen ion. Once the
hydrogen ions dissociated a negatively charged anion (-COO- or -CO-) results. Two of these anions can bind to positive
metal cations, such as iron (Fe++), copper (Cu++), zinc (Zn++), calcium (Ca++), manganese (Mn++), and magnesium
(Mg++). The simplified reaction (-COO- + Fe++ >> -COOFe+ + H) proceeds to bind two anions, frequently a -COOH and
a -COH group. The humate composition of any one humic substance is specific for that substance. Thus there exists a large
variability in the molecular composition of different humic substances

so play around with your sources for humic fulvic mixes!! it can affect nute uptake and taste/smell intesitys
