If it has an internal bypass- that's likely the issue. Don't know if bypass settings are adjustable, call reptile basics. (Or PetFlora)

Im thinking of adding a 20 gallon rubbermaid trash can to my flowering tent to replace 1 of the 2-5 gallon buckets stacked on one another. its shorter but 10 galons more! i was going to run 4 120` tefens in it 2 up top 2 down low... do you guys think thatd be enough coverage?

Was reading about Aquatecs yesterday, the 6800 has an internal bypass adjustable to 200 psi, don't know if that's your model, but perhaps the others have something similar.
My advice looking for Aquatec info, dig for PDFs you'll find them eventually, they have one that gives pump designations, and another for the pressure switches giving their default values, and some simple instructions on how to adjust the rating.
Dick for those misters you want them all high, a gentlemen that has more experience doing these than most of us came in here awhile ago and said specifically that chamber size and how long it takes the fog to waft to the floor are more important factors than the number of sprayers, this supports the others in that it's the quality of the mist that determines the maximum growth acceleration factor.
TB glad to hear the piece meets the required stresses even under abnormal adverse conditions.
Now Dick, see TB's chamber? It was a bit expensive, but it's plastic, and therefore a moisture barrier, it has a double wall and therefore an air chamber required to raise the R value of your insulation, therefore acting as it's own. Other than costly it's a pretty damn nice chamber, it's got great depth, should work fantastic.
I'm going to go with the bushings, to an elbow shut off adapter, 1/4.
DMFIT has the same thing with a different name, but they only come in acetel from what I can see, though John Guest has no two way divider, hence... you need to use a DMfit or other brand 1/4 x 1/4 two way divider if you should go this route. be advised.

Well that is the ranier season here, and Hilo is practically rainforest- so when you see that much green jungle around you, you can bet it rains alot to sustain it. The whole island of Kauai is like that, even more lush, and it showers just about every day (the mountain on that island is actually the "wettest spot on earth" with average annual rainfall in the 400 inches). But you know how the rain is here, it comes and it's warm and not too bothersome, and 20 minutes later the sun is shining and there's rainbows

Yes, I think so, also consider trying Bio controls. I know I have been giving mine a bad rap, but tree farmer just cleared some things up for me. He told me not to worry what the spray "looks like" and they do tend to have imperfect spray patterns, but still that they are very good nozzles, and have better throw and coverage than even nozzles that cost $50/piece. I'm gonna trust his judgement, because my whole design is based on his and Atomizers advice. He also told me not to worry about the silkscreen, especially because once the roots mat up in the bottom of the chamber and with the light mistings, very little water even makes it down to it anyway.
I am just wiring in my solenoids, and I will meet my deadline of having my system built by this weekend! (well, it's 11:58pm here- but I consider it the weeked still till I wake up tomorrow- hehe) I will post pics in the next couple hours before I crash out. Been working from wake-up to bedtime on this thing all weekend!

That's right- all this reading, planning, buying, building- it's all come to a point where I am witnessing the fruits of my labor! The quiet ticking of the solenoids for .5 seconds every 3 minutes and the pssst of the spray are chugging away in the background as I write this! Right now, is my adult equivelant of the feeling I used to get when my parents told me we were going to Disneyland... lol
I've shown the control center, but I suppose I need to show some pics of the chamber right?
I was searching for a way to tightly suspend the rootscreen an inch or so of the bottom of the chamber, and while browsing the hardware store I found some vinyl 1x1 strips for mounting vinyl lattice. I decided to make a framework to hold the silkscreen up out of it...
Then I used 2 window screen frames, but screened them with the silkscreen. I figured it was an easy way to pull the screen tight. I originally used a single screen, but it pulled together in the middle like an hourglass because it was too long, I only purchased enough silkscreen for 1 chance, but luckily there was just enough to do it twice. It was a real pain however, because it is harder to work with than normal window screen, and the only overlap I had to work with on the sides was 1/2 inch. I cursed and messed around with it for hours till I finally got it right... I caulked it in so the roots couldn't get under it, forgive the sloppy caulk job- I tried a new kind and it was horrible to work with. Also, for some reason I thought the box was brownish, and tried to get a matching color- but when I got back home I realized the bin is gray!- lol Oh well- if all goes well, it won't be seen for long, cuz it's gonna be covered in silky white fuzzy roots (wishful thinking) Anyway, here's what it looks like:

This is the remote sending unit for my pod temp gauge, I put it in a ziplock bag, and plugged the probe wire in afterwards, the unit fits nicely in between the 2 layers of the top of the bin, and I have the probe wire hanging down about 6 inches in the pod to sample the air temps.
I used low voltage outdoor wiring for the solenoids, and attached a normal wall plug onto it, and the recieving end on the control center, in case I ever need to move them around, it's as simple as disconnecting the JG fitting, and unplugging the plug.
Here's the plastic chicken wire installed to give the roots something to hold onto on the walls and lid:
I used some foam pipe wrap to insulate the JG line and solenoids for now. I plan to install some grey pvc 6x6x6 electrical junction boxes to house the solenoids in later and fill with fiberglass batting to insulate them from heat as well as attenuate their sound. I found some online (ordered (2) 5 packs for $12.99 each- total 30$ with shipping very good deal considering at Home depot one box costs $28...)

Well, this is the end of one chapter (the building) And the beginning of the next (learning to use it). I cannot thank everyone enough for all their help along the way, especially Atomizer who has answered all of my questions (and there have been many). And tree farmer for putting the info out there to me to read and learn. Of course Cavadge's thread was a huge inspiration too.
I have the timer set to mist .5 seconds every 3 minutes just to mimick a possible average setting, and will keep tabs on pod temps and how long it takes to drawdown the tank to cut in pressure. Next I will have to take some mist volume and actual timing measurements. My Canna nutes are on the way and I imagine I will get something growing in this thing and take it for it's maiden voyage!

Not quite sure petflora, in this thread, I'd consider it not a point of importance, what really matters is that I built the system, now have to see if it's viable and if I can get results. I'm not going to try anything too fancy, I expect to have a bumpy road ahead atleast for the first run or so.
'm wondering if my fogponic chamber might have any worth at least in cloning- perhaps I'll take some cherry tomato cuttings and see what gives.
