Depends on how fast these males make some pollen. They were started 3 days after the females, not sure if they will make it in time. Do u know the absolute latest? I think the seeds need atleast 1 month to finish, is that correct? Thx smelly!
Home depot made. Found corners pictured on first post and threaded adapter that fit to 3/4". Made it all outta 3/4" PVC which happens to fit in the tray well. Used Mason's string (thanks Dayzt) to weave the screen.
Damn that sounds like some dank crosses, I hope you can make it in time! Honestly I'm not sure how long you can push it, I remember reading that around the 3rd weeks is optimal time but I have no personal experience breeding so I don't know how true that is. I might have to search because I'm curious about that too!
Shit man nm. The SK1 are outta control, some tops are already 10+ inches over the screen. Had to do a lil supper cropping last nite lol
haha I feel ya. I have been confined to closets for the past 2 years so to finally get a place with an extra room is awesome! And I agree about the challenge, but I've got the advantage of having flowered these all out once before, so I have a little idea how much they should stretch. Honestly though, the SK1 will likely be too tall and I'll probably be using some grow yoyos again to support them. We'll see in a week or so. PE's are looking great again so I'm stoked, missed seeing them all perked up! Pics mon or tues.
Yeah I can't wait to make my first intended seeds. I also came to relization that I have a blackwater male and female, so I figured I could breed them together for some nice F2s. Get a couple hundred of those and I won't ever need to be ordering that strain again lol
I usually make a judgement call based on how thick the upper canopy is and how much popcorn I feel like dealing with. In the past my screen was 14" above medium and I cleaned out about 8". Now that my screen is 18" off medium I'll probably trim off the bottom foot. 6" of mass below the screen and 1 - 1.5 ft above the screen would probably be about perfect.
Flood tables are awesome, I love the reliability and minimal maintenance. And the jugs work pretty good for displacement, I've also used gal sized ziplock brand freezer bags and filled them with water and threw them in there. Anything to take up space which makes the table 'over flow' faster and keeps the rez from running dry as fast.
About 150 for a full tank, 150 for a regulator and 15 bucks for a 15 min increment timer. So 315...wish I could afford a controller but someday...after that about 20-25 per tank refill. Tank lasts me about 3 weeks full power.
