just got this about a week ago no name brand or nothing but works good 16 inch stemless QUADRIPARTITE Inline Percolator got it online for 100 bucks gonna grab a 5 finger ashcatcher for it to should be here pretty soon i already ordered it and they have great shipping so im thinking wed or thurs and ill post up some more pics

I have 14 and 18mm ti nails..You need me to resend the bike pic?
For colors I'd love:
Mostly blue... lots of white... black in between.... gold(color) accents... ideally of course
! the bike is a GSXR 750For the piece: Compact but thick where appropriate... diffused downstem... as much of that as you can do would be great

Light the bottom of the titanium, not the top of the titanium...................... Your nail will thank you! (Applies only to real torches, like the ones you just got and better++)

what do you mean the bottom? I heat mine like in verdes 3rd pic.Light the bottom of the titanium, not the top of the titanium......................

I heat the bottom of the titanium pad. (just heat it from under it, not horizontally). Heating the top makes the top look nasty, reacts with deposits of ash left in there, and will deform/pit your nail head over time. Heating it from the bottom will still turn the entire top of the titanium pad orange hot.
And dont put your dome on it while its orange.
Let it cool a tad! Kinda bad for glass, not clear as much as worked glass.So heat it from the under side UP not the left or right side horizontally

I'll take a pic when I get back next week so it visually makes sense to everyone......... I dont think it would matter at all if you only smoke a few dabs a week or so, but I hit the thing like 30 or 35 dabs a day........ Wear shows up fast when your a machine! <G>

Im with you there, amazing how clean all my bud smoking pieces have stayed latley LOL. its been a few weeks since i smoked bud. the newest buds i got I haven't even smoked. just immediately made oil out of them.

I sit it on my grinder and it's at that height....
How many ti nails have you broken from heating from the side kitty?
Titanium is pretty strong.. I'm not too worried!To me its all in the blue flame either way... I'm not spraying top down more like a 25 degree angle... I get the entire nail hot, not just that....
I throw the dome on when its glowing, and I let it cool to just under glowing before I dab my oil - for the best taste

Totally worth it! I got it on sale at ALT for like $53 (from 60)... The black tri pump ran me $120... and the red blazer micro torch ran me a little over $40...... the Vector Nitro by itself heats my 18mm nail faster than the tri pump and blazer combined...
I recommend it to all oil enthusiasts

It isnt about breaking a titanium nail........ Its about not cooking the leftovers in the pad each time. You will get residual deposits if you smoke it enough.

Oil does, yes. But any black residual deposits of "ash" left on the nail, will not. Unless you smoke a lot, you probably wont ever get much or notice it. I can photograph it much better when I get home, you can see what I mean just by looking at my nail.
You've never scraped anything off of the top of your nail? Not gooey stuff, but black black carbony-ashy-black that can be flaked away when you clean the nail........

Seems like if I smoke darker dirtier bho I get a residue. But when its the clean caramel looking stuff it burns all away

Ya, that's why I hate to call it a residue deposit, because that would indicate an unsmoked or partially smoked product. This is not. Its more like carbon ash......

That residue will just build up doesn't damage the nail at all. You can't degrade ti with the butane torches very easily or at all. you gotta get that thang hot before it does damage. White residue will build up on the pad, which most uninformed people believe is oxidation, it is not. It's just the left over residue burning again and assign up. It collects on the pad and makes it look degraded and messes with taste. It can be scraped off with a metal pic. Heat your ti anywhere that it doesn't heat your glass up IMO.
