Ok so I have a question for the people who have
grown and grown and grown and grown grown and grown and grown and grown grown and grown and grown and grown.
...

Q#1.) Is it possible to let a plant mature too long before flowering?
Q#2.) Is it true it takes 48 days to mature a marijuana plant from seed?

 Thanks!
A lot of people grow and grow and grow but come up empty handed. You should ask for people who put food on the table ,pay mortgage/rent, family expenses, run the car etc from their growing skills(pros) and have no other income.

When re_vegging you harvest then just through it back in18/6????

yeah you cut the stalk and leave about a foot of it. like taking an artificial christmas tree apart, you just leave the bottom and the brances and the bud on it. and it reverts back to veg, but you have to give it like 20-24 hrs light a day. if you reveg flowering clones its 20 hrs but they lose potency cutting after cutting.

As soon as you see pre flowers its mature, You can also go 12/12 straight from seedling you do know that?
No but i like to hear that, maybe we could collab on some ideas I might be missing. care to take me to school? would that be the reason some are able to flower in solo cups? please resond back soon! because those grows are cute. just-saying*

It's all relative. I grow 12/12 from seed. The plants usually veg for 2-3 weeks before showing any signs of flowering. Sativas generally veg longer and will get larger than indicas, which flower very quickly under the 12/12 schedule.
ok.. well do you prefer 12/12 from seed > VS. < seperate flower & veg cycle? and why?

The potency of a plant will not go down from cutting to cutting. You also do not need to go to 24 hr lights to reveg a plant, just go lights as usual for your veg cycle.

Benifits of a 12/12 from seed is that as soon as the plant reaches maturity, it goes into flower mode. Good to do if your going for variety or have a seed surplus. If you like a certain strain and want to continue growing the same strain, use clones. They will have the exact traits as the mother plant and are more mature (can go into flower mode right away) allowing for faster harvesting as your not waiting for the plant to veg and mature, but rather veg long enough to establish itself as a plant and not just a stick in the dirt.

1)Mother plants can be kept in perpetual veg for years But like many things in growing factors as usual come into play. Strain, enviroment ect... I have seen many 5+ yr old MJ plants over the years.

2)Some strains will flower in under 50 days once flowering is initiated. From seed to harvest in under 50, dont even know of an Auto strain that finishes that fast.

And Nusky a plant is not necessarily a seedling for 2 weeks. A seedling is the sprout and cotyledons. Once that first set of 'true' leaves begin to appear the plant has begun vegging...

Nobody likes to read or do research on their own nowadays??
and these questions didn't need veterans with a whole lot of growing experience, i could've answered those questions before my first grow, just saying.

i've kept mother plants in veg for over a year. some plants get to a point in veg where they just say fuck it and go into flower some will stay in veg for a long time.

although you can go right into flower from seed, here's what is going on in my tent. i had a bunch of vegging plants, seedlings and clones that were almost 2 months old. i also had a few seedlings that were 2 or 3 weeks old. i decided to flower the seedlings too. the 2 month old plants all showed sex at around 10 days. they're big and beautiful! none of the seedlings showed sex until 14 days (males) and some still haven't clearly shown sex at 18 days! the yeild of these will be tiny compared to their sisters, and i'll probably pull them because they are starting to annoy me!

i went from seed right into flower once. i did it with several genetics. shitty yeild, won't be doing it again! different strokes! :)

There is a strain called top 44 that finishes in around 6 weeks flowering
If you grew it 12/12 from seed I bet the whole grow would be just as
short as the 8 weeks autos need from seed to harvest

Plus you can grow a mother plant forever as long as you have the space... if not.. take clones

all seeds are able 2 breed
just look at Nirvana Short Rider which is:
Early Special x Top 44
If I mate a male from this plant with my dinafem sweet deep grapefruit;
I will have some plants that go auto! Giving me my very own Dinafem fruit autos
plus it would shorten the time SDG needs to mature, even though it's already a fast flowerer
