This is a story of one experience with Attitude, your experience may differ. This is in now way a praise or diss of the company, just the story of the experience.
This person lives in a location where beans are frowned upon, and the government has no sense of humor for such things, so paranoia is a real factor for this person.
Ordering the beans from the web site was really easy, the only hard part was making the decision which ones to purchase, as the choice is overwhelming. Kind of ridiculous if you think about, literally hundreds of strains to choose from.
The site was easy to use, the ordering process was simple. Once the order was placed the person received an e-mail notification of the order. Also received e-mail notifications about the shipping process. In the first e-mail it contained a summary of the order, clearly stating what the purchase was. Not very stealthy. In all e-mail's it was clearly stated what the company was, and what they sold, again not very stealthy, especially for a paranoid person.
With the tracking number they provide the person was able to track their shipment the entire way.
Once the order was paid for this persons bank put a freeze on their account until they verified a suspicious transaction. This person had to get on the phone and verify that they did indeed place a foreign transaction with a company called The Attitude, "an apparel store". This experience alone freaked this person out completely. Could it be a sting operation? Could it be the bank knew what product this person ordered? All kinds of thoughts were running through their head.
11 days after placing the order the beans arrived. Over 5000 miles to a location where it had to get pass customs. Before this person placed the order with Attitude they were told by someone on this forum that if you ordered using the guaranteed shipping you would Not have to sign for the package. Unfortunately this is not the case in this persons experience. There was a knock on the door, it was the usual mail person, this is not unusual as this person is constantly receiving packages dropped off by this same postal worker. When the door was answered the postal worker said they had several packages that needed signed for. This was suspicious as in years there has never been a request for a signature from any of the dozens and dozens of packages this person gets all the time. With paranoia rampant the person scribbled something on the slips of paper presented and took the packages and letters.
While the package clearly would have fit in the mail compartment, it was hand delivered and needed a signature. Again not very stealthy.
After careful examination of the package to try to determine if it had been opened. It appeared as if it had not been opened, and looked like it would have been easy to tell if it had been. The package was opened, the gift was there, with a picture of a MJ leaf and the words "Paradise Seeds" as the artwork on the gift. Again not very stealthy. Then behind the gift was the tin with the beans. Not very stealthy at all. If the package would have been opened by customs they would have clearly found the beans.
Since this person received 16 beans of 6 different strains from 6 different breeders, they had no idea if they would be able to tell which ones were which. Well all the beans are clearly marked, so that is no problem. The original breeder package was provided in most cases. In other cases the plastic bag was labeled. The beans from the breeder Nirvana was in a sealed, very professional package. It was printed and everything, looked like something you would buy in a store.
So because of this the person is pretty sure that the genetics they ordered is what they received.
Paranoid because of the verification of the transaction by the bank, and by having to sign for the beans, this person may just destroy them.
Another thing, on the package where it says Airsure, it clearly states "No Sig required", so why did the person have to sign for it? Could it be because of the location they were shipped to? Could it be because the whole thing is a sting operation? Could it be because the bank found out what was going on and informed the authorities and they then arranged a sting to prove the person accepted delivery of something that the government does not want them to have? Lots of paranoid, perhaps irrational thoughts.
So as far as actually getting the products that you order, a rating of a 10
As far as getting through customs a 10 (because it made it)
As far as overall stealth, a minus 1, not very impressed at all.
Would the person use the Attitude again, perhaps if they could get over the paranoia. It is hard to pass up those cool freebies. But if another order is placed, it might be from Nirvana, as their stealth is suppose to be very good.
