pruning a couple leaves out of the way to promote nodes to strestch through is never a bad idea, just dont go crazy maybe 2-3 leaves tops. remember these leaves are still making food for the plant to the more you can leave on during training the better.

perhaps just tie the leaves out of the way to allow the light through to the nodes, this way it will still make food for the plant and be out of the way

RE: your other reply in Loyalty's forum regarding living off of Roaches... My only salvation! just found this tonight while googling about my strain (Black Domina)

50 days apparently February 4th is my date for maturity.. Which is awesome because I got tickets to go see the Ottawa Senators take on the NY Islanders and I'm taking my son to go see them. Right down in the 100's just in the home zone of centre ice! They were seats giving to me from a lawyer that I refer my business to. So on top of the gifts we've already bought my son is getting super spoiled this year!

Matt: Not sure what part of the world your in, but @Loyalty you must like hockey being in Minnesota? Remember the North Stars? I do!!

I agree. Tie them out of the way. Don't cut unless you absolutely have to. They don't need the stress, and like brute said, they are still providing much needed food!

I agree 100%. I don't watch sports much myself, but my kid should be pretty excited ... I honestly couldn't name more than a handful of players on the Sens roster :D Much more important things to be educated about IMO

Hockey fan for sure, not as much as basketball, baseball or my absolute favorite football!!! Hard not to love the wild though with season they are having!! I actually see all of the players on a regular basis. I see more of the opposing teams though to be honest. I work at the most high end hotel in st. Paul and they all stay there! And yes, of course I remember the stars....they left us all so angry :(. Even with the year the wild are.having, they are on the backburner to my packers! :)

So I gave a heavy feed last night.. including some CaMg.

A few people in the plant problems forum suggested it might be a lack of Mg that was causing my spots.. they have gotten quite a bit better in less than 24 hours so I'm pretty happy but will keep an eye on them...

Well Matt and Loyalty have got me convinced to bend the snot out of these plants so I decided to apply a little stress to my little guys over in the veg section.

They've been under 24/0 light for about 36 hours and they seem to be loving it!! (only under a 250 MH, my grow tent has a 400 HPS now)

I'm going to switch them down to 20/4 light tonight

Here are some pre and post bondage shots

Black Domina's under bondage....

Whoops.. don't know how the shot of the wife got in there...

Haha, I love it! That's the way to go man, start training early and you can do wonderful things :). Try to put a counter-tie for the base of the stem!

Are there any tips for mixing dolomite in after the fact? I top dressed with some soil mixed with dolomite pellets. I'm too cheap to get a pH meter but figured if I had any pH issues that this should take care of it. I doubt I do have a pH issue as my water is fairly hard. (I tested it with a drop test pH kit and it said around 7.5 for the tap water)

I'm using CaMg additive with my feedings as well...
