I'm thinking now I might just pay for this myself & ask for donations at the door. If I get my money back, great. If not, oh well!
All this pre-pay shit & security might just kill the buzz.
So I don't think we'll do a pre-pay, just show up!

In my 47 years of life I've witnessed more then once an out-pouring of generosity followed by more out-pourings of generosity, they (we) just need a leader to follow. I'm sure there will be EVEN MORE donations coming your way for this event now! WTG Doublejj, sure glad I met you!

FDD made a suggestion, & a light bulb went on in my head. (and this ain't the first time that's happened!) thanks bro!
It would be a much nicer vibe if it was a free & open event.
With the core group of people we have involved, I'm sure we'll collect enough donations to make this a success.
I'm gonna put down the deposit & reserve it as soon as I see it, next week. He is holding it for us until then.
We'll open up a donation account soon & you guy's can all chip-in.
The more donations we get, the more food & other things we can include.
I like the feel of this better, we're back to a community effort

I completely agree. Ima bring 10 people.i really so no reason to do this. i don't see a reason to limit the number of people. i see no reason to discourage anyone from attending this. i don't understand why people are trying to limit things.

what if someone wanted to bring a girlfriend at the last minute? or any friend for that matter.
i say we pay the rental and simply open the doors.
. I would also like to donate before the event as I go through drought periods with money. Im still looking for viable spots.... open attendance wouldn't work at the Yosemite bug. The coastal areas are still my vote.... pescadero is one of my favorites!
