Uh... A cheap old one I got at the local drug store for $5. Has low, medium and high settings - watch out for hotspots.what kind of heat pad do you have?

How is it more stable pre whip? Less oxidization? I've never had oil in any form last a long period so I wouldn't know if it stores better fully dried versus a more viscous oil form.Damn! A lot of whipped bho around here ay? Some of it even looks really under purged. I guess I'm just not a fan of getting earwax and shit all over my fingers. Nobody over here likes making stable oils that retain their flavor and potency better over long periods of time? Please someone inform me as to why that wax is more enjoyable than this?
Stainless is stainless imo as long as you are not scraping metal flakes into your mix. You can fill your containers with inert gas for storage... If you want to go pro get one of these and 100% N-Butane.well it has took me almost two years and over 100 successful runs to in my opinion perfect this process. i wasnt going to change any thing but you seem like you know a good amount about this.so you recommend more precise tools a dental pick is a good idea but what can i use to replace the razor blade.and as for storing it i usualy place it in an air tight plastic container or i leave it in the dish i cooked it in and stretch saran wrap over the top.
You are literally whipping air into your product. When you oxidize your bho like that it loses flavor/potency much quicker than a stable oil (that's why wax smells so much better, it's giving off all those terpenes quicker.) It is a matter of preference as some prefer wax/budder over oil. I find wax really hard to get onto my dabber w/o getting it on my fingers, and I tend to keep my batches of oil for long periods of time. This all my opinion so take it with a grain of salt...there is no need to whip BHO. It is simply that some people enjoy the texture of wax better. How is it more stable pre whip? Less oxidization? Agree that the whipped budder has more O2 but the dried scraped hard wax should have less than both and be more stable than oil. Id say topping off the container with inert gas will have more of an influence over oxidation than whipping or not but ofc whipped will still have more. How do you get wax on your fingers? Do you not use a dabber? Without a dabber I can't imagine using the stickier oil.You are literally whipping air into your product. If whipped in small batches that's fine (I've done that before as well) but those huge tubs you see of wax at dispensaries....that shit degrades pretty quickly if they don't flip it fast.
What do you mean by the dried scraped hard wax as opposed to the whipped budder?Agree that the whipped budder has more O2 but the dried scraped hard wax should have less than both and be more stable than oil. /e Never mind I reread that, you form the budder onto the dabber with fingers? If the wax doesn't stick to your dabber try slightly warming it (the dabber)
I would assume whipped to oxidize just a tad faster than hard clear oil but considering it easily lasts 6+ months stored properly without any degradation I can't imagine shelf life really mattering - I've never had a vile of oil last over a year and not be used up. To offset this slight degradation for long term storage one could top off the container with inert gas in which case the point is mute. What do you mean by the dried scraped hard wax as opposed to the whipped budder?
And my oil is only a little sticky, turns into a shader that come off like shards and chunks but mold to the dabber really well. So you don't agree that whipping a product will decrease the shelf life? TBH I am still learning, and over at TC the consensus seems to be hard clear oil. Not saying this is bad, just wondering what makes it so desirable besides being easier to dab?
The turd is the second stuff pressed into a ball - it's greyish-green due to the lighting in my room.Second pic doesn't even look like the same thing. I'm so lost now man...that turd doesn't look very enjoyable, why's it greyish-green?
