Do either of you think this is okay to put four clones in the pink box??? I really like the idea of using the coffee container but I also have this box handy...or do you think i should put my clones in 32 oz cups to veg then cut the bottoms in all four in put on top/in this box full of perlite to flower???
 
imo i would get the roots established in 32oz or smaller cups then putting them in that pink box....looks like you would have alot of room to let the plants get huge...what do you plan on doing with that....a nice scrog would be nice to see as-well...peace az

oh im scroggin it all the way!!!! okay thats what ima do then im going to get them goin in the cups then move four to the box then scrog..this will work perfect for me cuz my system is to have 4 flowering at a time so I sooooo excited...i dont drink soda so Im going to have to really work to hunt down 32 oz styrofoam cupz how silly is that ha ha...im thinking my starbucks clear cups wouldnt be ideal>>>I have like the lil blue cups that you see in this pic that my clones are in now....i could pop a hole and trade out the perlite that is in it and fill it up w/ new...
 
i hate those cups sooooo much..lol...they are a major pain in tha ass when transplanting...expecially with perlite vermaculite...the styrofoam is great cause its ez to work with an cut plus tall enough to bury most of the plant down an leave a couple inches up top that i like to water threw as thats where the roots start....peace az

yes I did AZ gave alot of good info so I had his screen name in my head when I put that reply props to you both..... anyway I will be posting progress in my journal but I set up 4 hempy buckets today took 4 seedlings out of my AG and put them in I will keep them under the AG light and see how they go here are some pics wish me luck...

what kind of light do you plan on using...an those are 1 gal i assume so your gonna wanna flip at 12-18inches..also you got the hole in there right ...peace az

you are so right those blue cups are a bitch to cut w/o anything in them...i think sonic uses styrofoam cups or am/pm but i think everybody else does plastic..im on the hunt lol:mrgreen:
 
yes sonic an am/pm both do use them...just dont get the ones bigger then 32oz...unless you plan on being able to water everyday an your gonna grow some monster plants...which imo i would love to see someone else push the bounds on plant size to pot ratio to prove that hempy stomps....peace az
 
"The AK47 Project" will include a hempy grow section for sure......

yep I have the hole 1.5" from the bottom I am just using the light from my AG (cfl) right now, and I will be using additional cfls as the need arises I may put the pots in a grow tub I had originally for my dwc set up but it was such a pain to go in there and check the ph etc etc but with the hempy buckets I think it will work perfect...
 
ok heres where my feelings need to step in...imo cfls an such..suck...worthless other then cloning imo....for real growth i suggest getting a hid bulb..even if you can only get a 250-400 you will not be dissapointed...peace az

Someone needs to put this in the DIY and the newbie section. THIS is the best way for a first timer, people keep saying DWC but you have to stay on top of that. And no pumps or anything , i wish i would have seen this post sooner!

you and me both I have 3 plants in a dwc right now, its 17 days of 12/12 so I dont want to risk doing a transplant, but hell this would have been so much easier......
 
defentley would not risk doing that... just finish your current grow then do a hempy or start one con-curently...peace az
